Naufal sat in his office, he was busy browsing on his phone. He dialled his secretary's line and called her to his office. Nabila knocked and came in. He dropped a mug on his table and told her to make him cappuccino. Nabila folded her arms and asked him when she became his maid. He pushed a file to her which on its heading 'Duties of the CEO's secretary' was boldly written. Naufal smirked and gestured her to the end corner of the office where a medium size table was placed and on it is a tray containing of tea set, a heater plugged to a nearby socket, milk, sugar, coffee, cappuccino and other stuffs of their likes. Nabila rolled her eyes and felt like strangling Naufal. It took her some minutes before she was finally done making the Cappuccino. She dropped the cup containing the Cappuccino on his desk and turned around to make her way out. When his voice stopped her 'that's not all, take this folder and deliver it to the above address.' Naufal ordered, quietly sipping his drink which he was enjoying. He is just amused and wonders what Nabila has secretly added that made the Cappuccino taste so unique and nice! Nabila took the folder along with a piece of paper with the address written on it.
A Company In Abuja.
Nabila parked her car, locked it and made her way into the company. She was directed to the CEO'S office by a middle aged angry looking woman who is the receptionist. When she reached there a weird young lady who was the secretary who kept looking at her informed the CEO of her arrival. She knocked and entered in and sat down after she was politely asked by the CEO to take a seat. (That is how a CEO should be not like Mr Grumpy Pants - Nabila thought). The two exchanged greetings. Nabila then informed him of who sent her to him and delivered the message. He smiled and said 'Yes he called me and told me he would send someone with it, by the way thank you.' Nabila smiled back and stood up to go. Just as she stood up the CEO'S voice came in "You don't remember me right Miss Nabila?" Nabila turned and looked at him and then said "yes but you look a bit familiar but I've forgotten." He put on a sad face and said 'well it's okay, I am Asif we met in Katsina at a Sallah event in Karkanda Stadium, I am one of the 5A's, I kind of lost your contact, do you remember me now?' Nabila smiled and said 'oh I am so sorry I now remember you, I also lost your contact and I couldn't recognize you as well.' That was how they kept gisting until Mr Arrogant's call interrupted, he told Nabila he hasn't dismissed her for today and that there is still more work for her. Nabila rolled her eyes and told Asif she had to go now. They exchanged contact again and this time around Asif dialled her line and made her save it before she left the place. He also offered to drop her but she burst his bubble by telling him she came with her car and thanked him. While driving back to Mr Arrogant's Company she started wondering why Asif's 2 female workers, the secretary and the receptionist, are like that. She was also surprised of how Naufal got her contact but by the way she is his worker of course and he has some of her information including her phone number which is on her document. And lastly she admired Asif's kindness, he is really nice and their chit chat was fun as he told her somethings about him and cracked some funny jokes which made her laugh. Oh well that fun moment is over she has to go and face Mr Arrogant and a lot of work. She felt tired already. She couldn't get relocated to a new place with all the money and connection (Sai kace anyimata baki). And her father was against her relocating and demanded her reasons. When she kept on stammering he just told her to forget about it, that after all it is just a 1 year service not forever and that it's not always what you want that you get.
The Garden by L'Epicure
It has been weeks after Asif and Nabila exchanged contacts and since then they had been communicating through calls and chats frequently. For the past few weeks they have gotten closer and a strong friendship bond between them. And right now Nabila has just been dropped by her Brother Na'im at The Garden by L'Epicure. Where they have planned to meet, her and Asif before going to other planned places. She sighted him dressed marvellously sitted in a corner. Immediately she approached him he gave her a heart warming smile and dragged the chair for her to sit and then pushed it in after she sat. He sat down too and stared at her smiling. Nabila laughed and snapped her fingers. He smiled back and said 'Hello miss beautiful, you look so beautiful in fact I was breathless when I first saw you walk in here.' Nabila was just blushing. Asif quickly took out his phone and started videon her saying 'Awww look who's blushing, it's miss beautiful alright!' Nabila snatched his phone away but he snatched it back immediately, saved the video and locked his phone. 'Good afternoon gorgeous, you look amazing too,' Nabila said. Asif brushed off imaginary dust from his shoulders and said 'I know right!' Nabila just shook her head. Asif called the waiter to take their orders. They ate a little out of what they ordered, Asif paid the bill before they proceeded to the next place.
