"You're so clingy, I love it," you giggle as Jungkook pulls you closer, close enough to have your back be pressed against his chiselled chest. The pair of you had embarked on a spontaneous date night. When on your way home from the 7/11 at the corner of your street. The recently fairy-light embellished park across the street had been begging you to walk its lonely magically-lit path and satisfy its solitude. Of course, your pleading subsequent gaze had rendered your darling boyfriend helpless and eventually agreeing with your suggestion despite his resilient efforts.

It wasn't long before you find yourself shivering at the bitter chill of the late evening with the sweet glow of the trees' stripped-bare skeleton bejewelled with fairy lights, unable to take away the feeling. To resolve all bitter things, Jungkook suggested cuddling together whilst cradled in the welcoming roots of one of the ornamented trees.

Chuckling into the sensitive soft skin of your neck, your doe-eyed boyfriend smirks as he gives the junction of your neck and shoulder a faint nip, "we've become the clingy couple that you used to complain about,". He was right but you didn't want to admit it; his ego will grow to reach above the clouds.

"Look! Fireflies!" you opted to distract him and avoiding the topic altogether.

"Those are the fairy lights, (Y/N)," he raises an amused brow at you as his pink lips twitch up, struggling in their effort to keep from bursting out laughing.

"No! Those!" you exaggerate your point by jabbing your pointer finger into the distant night.

"And those are called stars..." he finally allows himself to laugh at your defeat before urging you to admit to his earlier statement only to have you continue your denial.

It was funny to think about because you did complain about all the sappy couples that held hands and kissed in public In all honesty, you were only jealous of the fact that they had each other but you couldn't have your best friend, since middle school, the way you wanted him. At the time, everything felt hopeless; he wasn't interested in finding someone as his main focus was his future career as a tattoo artist. In due course, however, you ended up not being the only one admiring the other, lovingly staring at them whenever time was spent together. One thing led to another and here, you find yourself, smiling up at him as you walk hand in hand back home, you're matching tattoos brushing against one another as your synchronised hearts beat with love for each other.
