Chapter 35

-Alexis's POV-

It was a long plane ride but we finally got back to Alabama, Michael has been messaging Melanie like crazy, I could tell he had no sleep, his eyes were blood shot and the way he talked was so slurred and deep, we were in the car and Michael curled up with my jacket because he didn't grab his, he showed me each little road that lead to Melanie's house,"is she coming to Australia with us?" I asked driving down the road.

"Yes, I was surprised her parents are letting her, they are very strict" Michael informed me,"there has to be a catch, what did you say to let her come" I said approaching an empty stop sign,"i told them that she was sharing an apartment with her friend that moved to Australia" Michael said looking over at me.

"I'm guessing that's me?" I questioned,"yeah, by the way, come I with me so they know I'm not lying" Michael begged, I looked at him quickly then back at the road,"fine" I said softly giggling pulling into the driveway Michael showed me, we got out and knocked on the door, her dad opened the door and Melanie was behind him with her jacket on and suitcase standing up beside her,"so, you will talk care of my daughter?" Melanie's dad asked Michael.

"Yes sir, I swear nothing will happen to your daughter" Michael said with my light blue jacket on, her dad seemed to stare into Michael's soul, Michael kept a small smile on his face and her dad finally moved, Michael grabbed Melanie's suitcase and put it in the car,"is he trouble?" Melanie's dad asked while Michael was at the car.

"No sir, I've known Michael for awhile and he is a really great guy" I said smiling,"okay, I can trust you right?" he questioned me,"yea sir" I said,"okay, goodbye sweetheart, please keep in touch or you will come home" her dad said kissing the top of her head while giving her a hug,"bye dad" she said as I followed her to the car. I headed back to the airport, Michael and Melanie were cuddled in the back of the car, I smiled because they were adorable, I was upset because I missed Luke, I know I'm headed back home but I miss him wrapping his arms around me holding me close to the warmth of his chest.

-Luke's POV-

Me and Calum were on the couch watching tv together, I went downstairs and slid my skinny jeans and nirvana shirt on, I walked upstairs running my fingers through my hair and headed towards the door,"where are you going?" Calum questioned.

"I'm going for a walk, I'll be back shortly" I said closing the door behind me, I walked down the street and tucked my hands in the pockets of my jacket, I started thinking about Alexis, I missed her even though she's only been away for just a little bit, she hasn't messaged me which has worried me, I snapped out of daydreaming and noticed I was almost at the park. I sat on a park bench and pulled my phone out, my wallpaper was me and Alexis kissing after I proposed, I smiled and decided to send a text to Alexis just to make sure she was alright.

Luke- Hey princess, I just want to check and make sure your okay...i miss you lots, love you babyXx

I sent the message and put my phone back in my jacket pocket, I walked to a little stand that's sat on the corner and got a hot chocolate, I watched the steam roll of the top of the hot cocoa as I sipped some little by little. I walked back home and took my jacket off, i felt my side vibrate and pulled my phone out.

Alexis- Hey baby :) everything is wonderful, I miss you too!! I will be home shortly ,love you!

I smiled and put my phone back in my pocket, I didn't sleep well last night while Alexis was gone because I'm use to sleeping up next to her, I grabbed a little cover and curled up in a ball on the couch and slowly fell asleep.

-Alexis's POV-

We have been on the plane for some time, I got out my phone and checked everything, I laid my head back and was then told that we were landing. After we got our stuff we headed to our house, as soon as I saw the house I started to fill up with energy because I was ready to see Luke, we got in the driveway and I got the little stuff I brought and ran to the door, I opened the door and Calum jumped and then turned to see it was me, I smiled and sat my stuff down, Calum reached over and shook Luke,"Luke get up Alexis is here" Calum said.

Luke moved a little and groaned, I walked over to him and leaned over the couch and touched my nose against his,he groaned and moved again, I crawled over the couch and laid on top of him, he opened his eyes slightly and continuously blinked ,"Alexis?" he questioned.

I smiled,"its me" I giggled, he smiled and kissed me," I've missed you princess" he said as we got up, I hugged him tightly and we stood there hugging each other. Ashton came down and gave me a hug, Michael gave Melanie a tour of the house and each little house item he found adorable, we sat around like normal and watched tv. It got dark outside so me and Luke headed downstairs and laid down, we cuddled and took a few cute pictures,"i couldn't sleep last night" Luke said softly into my neck from cuddling me from behind.

"Awe, I'm sorry" I said giggling slightly,"its okay, I have you back" Luke said pulling me closer.
