As we got back to HQ after the fight I went to find Andy and Lauren but I found them with Marco and Caitlin. "May are you alright, what happened to your face." Andy asked me while coming up to me. "Wow thanks. I think it's called genetics but who am I to tell." I say as sarcastically I can. But with the look on his face I could tell that I hurt his feeling's. "Sorry but yeah I'm good just tired and hungry." I tell him. "Ok, yeah you can use my bed to get rest." He sed than left to help unload the truck of supplies. "Are you ok, back at the ring I saw you get beaten up really badly." John sed as he finished unloading the truck. "Umm yeah I've had worse I should be good." I replied to him turning to walk to Andy's bed. "Hey..." He sed while he grabbed ahold of my upper arm. I looked at him and he let go of me. "Um nevermind, sorry get some rest." I made my way to the bed and layed down and fell asleep and had the same dream that I have every sense the wreck that kiled my family.

As I was talking to my mom about something that happened at school my dad was driving. The radio was on and was playing softly in the background. "And then the teacher stood on the desk an started to move around and-" I was cut off by a yawn than started to rub my eye. "Mama I'm tired, when are we going to get home." "It will still be a couple of hours baby so go to sleep ok."Little me gave her a nod and was off like a light. One hour later and my mom was asleep and my dad was still driving. I woke up due to a blinding light in my eyes. Just to see a truck coming right at our car. All I could hear was the trucks horn and mine and my mother's screams it seemed that all the noise kept getting louder and louder almost defining. But it wasn't help anyone. The car jerked to a stop as the truck and the car collided crunching mettle could be here all around me. My legs got stuck between my seat an my mother's. I hit my he'd of the window and blacked out. That's the night I found out about my powers. And the tree first grew and a single leaf fell.

I then woke up in a cold sweat and out of breath. When I walked downstairs and sat with Clarice trying to calm my nerves.
"So how you doing?" I asked "Um ya I'm good." "You know I just want to thank you for what you did for my family." She just nodded her head. She was about to say something but than John came over and sat with us. "Do you think you can help us get Lorna." He asked right away. "This Lorna chick went to jail saving my ass. I owe her. But it won't work. I can't do anything."she shows us that her powers weren't working. "See? Nothing. And you want me to help you get into a jail? You'd be better off with a couple glow sticks and a hacksaw." We laughed at this and I rolled my eyes playfully. "Something changed after I got sick. I woke up with this new beauty mark here. And my powers I don't know they're they're broken." She continues "Hey. Abilities don't break. Most mutants first access their abilities from strong emotions. Fear, anger, pain. But those are all unreliable. The challenge is to tap into something positive." John states and I nod along with him. "Like, what, your going to do some hot yoga and find her spirit animal?" I joked "Um no, thanks. I'm pretty sure your spirit animal would bite me." John states back at me chuckling "No. It'd rip your head off." Clarice respond in my defense. "No, it's impossible. My head can't be ripped off." He responded quickly, and I chuckled. "Hey. We're gonna work on it. See you in the morning guys." "So what was that?" Clarice asked when John was out of range "What was what." "You and John. I'm not blind I seen that spark." "Ok your tired you should get to bed before you pass out." "Whatever I'll see you tomorrow." And with that she left for her bed. I walked over to a pantry type thing and grabbed some peanuts than walked outside and saw a squirrel and it came over to me. (I know it's like a Disney movie up in here.) I gave it a couple and it let me pet it."
That's awesome." I herd a voice behind me sed. I turned around to see Nova standing there looking at me. "Hay, Nova what are you doing up it's really late?" "I can't sleep I have bad dreams alot." "Do you wasn't to talk about it, it might make you feel better." I asked and she just nodes her head. "Ok but first let's get you into bed." I say and run up to her and spin her around making her giggle. I set her down on her cot than sat down on the empty one next to it. "Ok shoot I'm all ears." "Um ok well a couple of days ago me and my parents where going to the park because thare was a carnival. We where walking past this place it looked like an abandoned house. A guy came out and he seen us and pulled out a knife he started running at us so we started running too. We where still a little bit away from the nearest house. But he was faster and caught up with us. He grabbed my mom and stabbed her my dad sed that he would deal with him and told me to go run and hide in the forest and he would find me. But he never did. And that's when I found out about my powers. I cant really control them but I can control the weather. That's the night where Lorna found me and brought me hear." See explains to me about her dreams. "Hey it will be alright I won't let anyone hurt you ever again, you have my word." As I go to get up I felt her little hand grab my so I turned to look at her. "Can you sing to me, it will help me sleep." She asks in a small voice like she is ashamed of it. "Yeah of course but I have to warn you it's been a long time since I have. What do you want me to sing." "Can you sing Hallelujah." I nodded my head and started to sing.
I herd there was a secret cord that David payed and it pleased the Lord but you don't really care for music do ya, and it goes like this the forth the fith the minor fall an the major lifts that baffled King composing Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah You had father but you needed proof you saw her bathing on the roof it was the her beauty and the moonlight overthrew ya She tied you to her kitchen chair And she broke your throne and she cut your hair And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah
I didn't get to finish because when I looked over at her she was passed out and snoring softly. It little did I know was that John was around the corner sitting on the ground with his back agenst the wall. Completely forgotten what he was going to do. He has a small smile on his face as he got up and went to bed
