Chapter 1: When we first met

(A/n: Hiya welcome to my new story I hope you enjoy it. To keep clear of the confusion you live in California and Dipper is in Gravity Falls!)

(Y/n) P.O.V

I was laying in my bed feeling weak like I usually do. Barely moving I reached for my phone on the table beside my bed. After grabbing my phone I went to the App Store looking for something to take my mind off... well life. While scrolling through apps I accidentally downloaded a app to make "friends" I looked at the app tempted to delete it. Right as I was about to delete it the door to my room opened. I sat my phone down and looked at who was at the door it was a woman with blond hair a little past her shoulders. She wore a white button up dress and nurses hat. Oh I must have forgot to mention I live in a hospital. When I was born I was diagnosed with cancer my parents thought it would be better if I stayed here... and well they haven't been heard from since I'm 13 now. "Hello Miss (L/n), I'm glad to see your awake today" the nurse said giving a small sympathetic smile. After being abandoned I was a cold person to anyone I looked at her a just done "Tch" then looking away I didn't need her sympathy. "How do you feel today? Do you feel any better?" She said sitting on the end of my bed. All the workers here where nice I'll give them that so it wasn't there fault for me being cold it was my parents. I just took it out on the workers "Hm... I don't know how do you think I would feel after being abandoned by my family? Being sick in the hospital ever since i was born with cancer?" I spat at her she gave a small sad smile as she stood up and gave my leg a gentle pat. "I hope you feel better soon Miss (L/n), I will be back in here later to check on you" she spoke quietly walking out. I sighed laying my head on the pillow and looking at the app on my phone. Delete or make a profile? Was the question repeating in my head. Making my decision I clicked on the app.

I filled out the application type thing and made my profile. Within minutes of making the profile my phone started vibrating signaling I had messages from people.

I hesitated before clicking on it. The name just intrigued me. One last short conversation couldn't hurt... or at lest that what I thought.

I typed quickly stuffing my phone under the blanket. I started feeling light headed and dizzy I look up to see the nurse back in my room with a tray of food "Hello again Miss. (L/n) I brought you food... are you feeling alright" she said sitting the food on my table I just sat there in silence. She rested the back of her hand on my forehead "your running a fever dear" she spoke frantic I pulled my head away from her hand "Tch I'm perfectly fine" I turned my head to look out the window but then everything turned black.
