I let out a relieved sigh as I closed up the shop, flipping the sign to Come on In! To Sorry Come back tomorrow! I locked the door as I fastened my coat around me and began my journey home. I owned a small bakery in a small town, so business was pretty much okay but always the same. For some reason it made me feel better to be in a small town, I don't know why, it just felt like it was the only small part of home I remember.
I have been to countless therapists, shrinks and even a hypnotist to try and remember my past. It scared me to think my childhood life was just a blur, like it never even happened, when they asked me if I remembered anything I said I felt fear. And if they asked me if I remembered anyone I only knew one name, and every time I said it I knew that person was very important to me, when they asked I knew exactly what to say. "Richie Tozier"
As I continued my way through the empty road, seeing the lights of my house, I hear my phone ring. I searched for it in my purse and finally find it under wallet, I look at the caller ID and it was one I didn't know, but when I looked at the location my blood ran cold. It said Derry Maine, don't pick it up, it's just a random number probably spam. Don't pick it up. I thought, my finger about to push the end call button. But for some reason I felt like I needed to answer, like it would help me, so I went against my better judgement and pressed call.
"Oh thank god you answered! Y/N we need t-"
"How do you know my name" I demanded, fear rising up inside of me as the man on the other end let out a tired sigh "you don't remember much either do you? I'm Mike Y/N, Mike Hanlon, remember?" Just as he said his name I almost dropped the phone out of my hand as some memories passed through my head, memories of me throwing a rock at Henry Bowers and helping a Mike out off the river. When he carried a gun as we rode our bikes to a place I still can't remember."Mike?" I stammered and I heard him let out a relieved laugh "yes yes it's me! Okay Y/N, listen I need your help, you need to come back to Derry, all of the losers do" I was about to call Mike crazy when I suddenly I remembered the losers, my best friends, I remembered Eddie Kaspbrak, Ben Hanscom, Beverly Marsh, Stanley Uris, Bill Denbrough and finally... Richie Tozier. "Y/N? Are you still there?" "Yes yes" I said quickly as I thought about what to do. My better instincts tell me to hang up, sprint home and lock all the doors and windows, but something in the back of my mind told me that I had to go. So I made a decision that would probably will regret. "I'll be there." And I could tell he was smiling on the other end as he told me where I needed to go and we said our goodbyes as I hung up the phone.
Well Derry, guess I'm coming back.
