Richie x Reader IT Chapter Two

Chapter 12

I groaned in disgust as we walked through the sewer, we kept walking and my eyes widened as we walked into the place I thought we would never have to see again. Images of dead children floating and piles upon piles of trash under them floated through my mind as I looked at the now empty cistern "Shit this is it. This is were it happened." Ben spoke nervously, him speaking out all our thoughts. 

As we all kept walking towards the center the thought of being in grey water got to Eddie as a piece of trash came towards him "No. No. No." Eddie muttered in disgust and I rolled my eyes as I pushed it away with my hand. 

One by one we started getting on to the well, I grabbed Richies hand and pulled him up, while he helped Eddie up I looked towards Ben, who was staring at Beverly as she turned back towards the sewers "Bev, what is it?" Ben asked softly and the rest of the Losers turned to Bev who looked at us scared but then relieved "I thought I heard something." She started heading towards us before a giant figure jumped out of the water, it grabbed Bev's face and turned towards us, it was an old lady with her face distorted, she smiled at us and screamed "TIME TO SINK!" before dragging Bev under water. 

We all didn't hesitate (Except for Eds) to jump in the water, I looked around and my eyes widened as I saw the old lady drag Bev farther into the water, I tried kicking and punching the monster as Ben, Bill, Mike and Richie pulled Bev out, I swam towards the surface and gasped as I gulped in air, Bev cried incoherent words as Ben tried to comfort her. "Mike, where do we go from here?" Richie asked out loud and Mike turned to him with a determined look and we all knew what he was thinking, down.

"In the depths is where IT crepts, the the beneath to find relief." Mike chanted over and over again as we reached the center "Is he okay?" Ben asked warily and I shrugged as Richie answered "I think at this point it's a relative question." "What's on the other side?" Bev asks as she brushes a piece of wet hair out of her face. "I don't know... no one does." Mike admitted, which only made us Losers grow more weary. 

As Mike opened it sounds of protest flew around the room as he started going down "Alright, see you guys down there." Mike patted the floor before continuing his way down. I cursed as Bill glanced up at us "Stay together." "Okay." Ben nodded and followed after, as Bev started her way down I looked to Eddie who was backing up and shaking his head "Guys I can't do it, y-you saw what happened I was gonna let you two die." Eddie pointed towards Richie and I, "You let me go down there with you, Im gonna get us all killed."

 He started to breathe in his inhaler before Richie grabbed it and they argued and I sighed before flashing the light in Eddies face, making him lose his grip so Richie could get the inhaler. "Look you had a moment, fine, but who killed a psychotic clown before they were fourteen?" "Me." Eddie answered sheepishly and I gave him an encouraging smile as Richie kept going "Who stabbed Henry bowers with the same knife he got stabbed in the face with?"

 "Still me." "Who married a woman ten times his body mass?" "Me." Eddie answered more confident and Richie smirked "You're braver than you think." He patted the stabbed cheek and Eddie winced, Richie apologized before heading down, before Eddie went I grabbed his shoulder "You got this buddy, I'd put my life in your hands any day Eddie Spaghetti." He smiled but rolled his eyes at the nickname, as I went down I heard Bev say something about monsters and hand the spear to Eddie "You think so?" "If you believe it does."

"Stupid crawl space." I muttered as I wiggled through the tight space to the cave, Bev gave me a small smile as she pulled me out, I gasped as I saw the cave, it had spikes circled around the center and spreader across the cave, and the top seemed to go on for miles. "This is where IT hid." 

"So all this has been under Derry forever?" Eddie asked in awe as he looked around "Not forever, just a few million years." Mike mumbled and I rolled my eyes "So like forever then."
