Gillian's P.O.V.

I am standing before the window of my room, staring outside blankly while brushing my hair. It has been over a week since we came back from that town and I am fine. No more stomachache, no more visions, no more hallucination, nothing. It actually feels weird to not be in pain. It feels... Surreal. It's actually frightening because I know Marcel can come at any time now and sincerely, it makes me nervous to not be aware of when he will hit. I just hope nobody will die because of me... I let a long sigh out when I hear the door of my bathroom getting opened. I spin around slowly as I finish to brush my hair. I watch Kol walking out of my bathroom, shirtless, in his jogging while drying his hair with a towel. I smile to the sight of my shirtless boyfriend.

- Darling, calls me, Kol, stepping over to me. He throws the towel onto my bed before he comes kneeling before me, tell me how handsome I am, smiles, Kol as he looks up at me with his cute eyes.

- Oh, Handsome... I call him with a smile. I grab his chin with my hand while leaning in but stop right before his lips. I feel him trying to force to kiss me but I stop him. I can't, dad taught me to never lie, I whisper before chuckling as I pull away and release his chin. I begin to step backwards as Kol nods positively. Suddenly, my boyfriend gets up with his vampire speed and before I could move away, he picks me up and throws me onto my bed. I laugh, amused when the Original comes on top of me.

- Never lie, huh? repeats, Kol with an amused tone and a smile. I try to push him off me but Kol grabs both my wrists and pins them down above my head.

- Kol, I am a woman, you have to respect me and you can't hurt me because I am smaller and younger than you, I tell him with a defensive, yet, a playful tone as I can't stop myself from giggling.

- So? Asks, the Original with a smirk as I can tell he has an idea behind his mind.

- It isn't fair. You're older, stronger, taller. I am younger, weaker and smaller. I'm the opposite, I reply and try to find an argument to escape from his devilish idea.

- I agree. Except for one thing... I stare at him with a smile as I frown confused. You're not weak, he tells me before rapidly leaning in my neck and starting to lightly and softy bite it while tickling me. I try to push him off, laughing uncontrollably under his body, but Kol is stronger. I feel him blocking me entirely down as I struggle to breathe due to my laugh. After several seconds, Kol stops and places a delicate kiss on my neck before pulling his head off to look down at me. His beautiful smile is plastered on his face. I manage to bring my hand up to his face, caressing it gently as my lips stare at his and his lips with love. I feel Kol passing his arms under my back before he rolls us over, bringing me on top of him. I smile, sitting on his lap as my hands travel up and down his chest. I massage his shoulders as Kol keeps hold onto my waist. You know that the dance is tonight at your school, right? He asks me with a serious, yet, gentle tone. I look down, keeping a small smile as my hands are still traveling and massaging his upper body.

- I'm not going, I gently reply. Suddenly, Kol sits upright as well, causing me to pass my hands around his neck to keep hold.

- Yes, you are going, Beautiful, he answers while nodding positively.

- Kol, what's the point? I ask him with a faint sigh while losing my smile and shrugging.

- Gillian, you need to relax, to have fun, to enjoy your life like any other living people. You're beautiful, you're kind and you're the woman who has the biggest and warmest heart I have ever met in my life. You deserve one night off from all this craziness, all this hell. You deserve to be happy, responds, Kol to me, both his hand running up and down my sides as our faces are near each other.
