Air. Water. Earth. Fire.

Long ago, the four elements were out of place, unbalanced. But my mother, Avatar Korra, helped renew the Air Nation, she was able to connect the spirit and human worlds, but she couldn't do it all.

Anarchists always strike, and when they strike they strike hard. Although King Wu abolished the monarchy, they still weren't happy. My mother had dealt with them before, but this time, she was no match. That was the end of an era, her era. I miss my mother everyday.

Weimin was like no other, no scratch that, he was arrogant, obnoxious, stubborn... He was like a little brother to me, annoying, but his heart was in the right place. After my mother's passing and with the discovery of the next Avatar, the White Lotus was dedicated to fully aiding the Avatar, it was what was necessary. His biggest confrontation was with the Black Dawn, a group of anarchists dedicated to the Red Lotus. Disguised as a company promoting clean and harmless spirit energy, Weimin supported them. He was the Avatar after all, spirituality is a part of who they are. They weren't doing as promised.

Spiritual land was destroyed. The spirits were again unbalanced and angry at the human realm, Weimin realized this and tried to expose them, but they had ended an Avatar before, and they were not afraid to do it again. Because he supported this group behind closed doors and their true intentions were coming to the light, they decided to have someone expose him instead.Maybe their true goal was to give the Avatar a bad name, the worst name they could give... I'm still unsure of their motives, but the propaganda they started led to protests against the Avatar, and to correct his mistakes, to bring honor to the Avatar - to Raava, he tried to fight against them.He too, was no match.

After his passing, the leaders of all five nations joined forces to stop Black Dawn. This only ignited a stronger flame in the minds of the protestors. To them, there was no need for anAvatar, the world's problems could be solved by leaders, by the people. Not the Avatar. They played their part and the people would not be convinced otherwise. And as the world continued to modernize, there was believed to be no need for the Avatar.

That's where they were wrong. Problems continue to erupt. Balance needs to be restored.Only the Avatar, master of all four elements can achieve these things. And that's why I believe Vahni can change the world.
