A thunderous slam and a scream:
"That fucking son of a bitch!"
David looks up from his now fifth solo card game. Mr. Cowell seemed to have a struggle with his coat, as he couldn't take it off.
"Ugh, fuckin' coat!"
The one who came home first closes his eyes, makes an internal count up to three and just finishing, Simon says:
"It happened again, David. The fucking job cuts haunt me... the fat fuck had promised me that he would help me keep my place, but— fucking hell, I'm so angry".
David's big hand slips up to his waist and makes them advance together to his room, through that hallway half-neglected by time.
"You know I haven't been there a fucking month. Fuck, why is this happening to us?"
Simon was so busy expressing his anger and distributing enough rudeness to everyone that he didn't realize that David was taking off his button-down shirt, silently, listening to him.
"Everyone ask themselves why this time the suicides increased, the authorities pretend to be super 'worried'. Yes, yes, eat my—"
The great vocal string of hostility was finally cut by a tender and sweet kiss. His scraped cheeks held lovingly.
It made him sigh and surrender to the kiss. The huge black cloud over his head gradually dissipating.
"No doubt these are difficult times..." Williams' fingertips were in charge of tracing paths through the man's uncovered skin. He adores his body.
"Forgive me, I promised you something better than this; you deserve more."
There was no more anger in his voice. Now it was something worse: deep sorrow and disappointment."Hey, it's not like that, honey. Look at us, just look at us, okay?" He unites his hands, the right ones specifically, and the scarce moonlight made his promises of love sparkle: beautiful rings, the same ones, full of the same feeling.
Those expensive rings meant a lot to them: they were as much as a remembrance of that wedding day, accompanied by family and friends, as a symbol of their previous luxurious life.
Simon's parents had inherited the prestigious family business to him and by then, the eldest son Cowell bought the wedding rings, the best in the store to add. However, thanks to the economic crisis that hit the whole country, the company went bankrupt.
Now they live a very different life.
To live in an old rental house, to work as factory laborers, to eat hardly twice a day, to end up totally tired out at the end of the day and only to find rest when coming home and loving the other."You remember our vows, don't you, love? To be together in the good times, in the bad times and in the worst. Because I love you and you love me."
Simon nodded, grinning for the first time in the day.
"Things will eventually get better, you'll see, Si"
"You're right. I love you" the smallest of stature leaves a kiss on the curve of his neck "thank you for comforting me"
"It's nothing, that's what I live for! So you don't lose your head, you little cranky."
"Oh, shut up, wife" Cowell pushes him from chest to bed with reasonable force, both men laughing.
