I get pulled out of my thoughts by someone yelling my name.
I blink a few times and focus on my mother who is sitting at the diner table with an aggravated look on her face."We seriously need to do something about your constant daydreaming its getting on my nerves."
"I'm sorry what were we talking about?" I ask unconcerned as my mom rolls her eyes.
"As I was saying, I wonder what we should do for your birthdays this year. I was thinking to save on money we have joint birthdays between you two." She explains pointing between Jacin and me.
My eyes widen remebering my birthday was in less than two weeks.

Smirking to myself I watch Shanes beautiful seafoam green eyes widen in disbelief.
I knew he didnt want to do this but my mother wouldnt listen.

As we get home my mom looks at me and asks "Are you excited about finding your mate in two weeks?" I nod my head excitedly.
"Yes Ma Im excited but nervous especially if they reject me and what if they are human? I dont think I would be able to run the pack with out my mate." I say with a slightly shaky voice.
"It will be fine darling." She soothes as she walks up the stairs but stops and also adds "and stop being so mean to the Mikels kid!"
"Yes Ma." I lied, I mean its so fun to see his cute reactions and-WHOA nothing is cute about shane Nothing!
Jeez I have been acting like this for a few days, I wonder why.
I head upstairs and go into my burgundy room and flop onto my bed after taking my shirt and jeans off
Ill take a shower in the morning. I think as I drift off into a dreamless sleep.

I know this is short as all get out but I wanted to post a chapter and this is all I could think of in the dead of night but sorry. Again please tell me if I should continue though I doubt I should.
