"Hello?" I yell, "Is anybody in here?"

I'm in a white room, and I can't seem to find anyone else.

I wait for a minute before hearing a wicked laugh in the distance.  "Hawk Moth?  Is that you?" I yell.

"Yes, it is me.  You might be wondering where you are, but just let me explain," he says.  I can see him walking toward me now.

"Yeah, I would love to hear a good explanation for this.  After all, the last thing I remember was agreeing to help you, and now I'm just confused.  Is that butterfly possessing my body?" I say.

"Okay, first of all, it's called an akuma.  Second of all, the akuma is not technically possessing you, and neither am I," he says.

"Then explain yourself, Hawky!" I scream.

"This is your subconscious, (Y/N)," he tells me.

"Wait, my subconscious?  How is this my subconscious?  After you transformed me, I could see and hear, but it was kinda foggy, and then as soon as those heroes showed up, I just ended up here!  How did your little 'akuma' put me in my 'subconscious'?" I say.

"(Y/N), you almost broke out of your akumatization, so then my akuma technically did take over your body for a few short minutes to put you back in an emotional state," he says.

"How are you planning to do that, Hawk Moth?" I ask.

"You'll find out soon, won't you?" he says before disappearing.

"Hey!  Come back here, Hawky!" I yell.  I turn around, and I see that the room is no longer white.  I'm in my own bedroom, and I can see the younger version of me.  I'm sitting on my bed, and Father is next to me.

"(Y/N),  I have some bad news," says Father.

"Daddy?" says the younger me.  I know what's about to happen, and I don't like it.

"Your mother has disappeared," he says, on the verge of tears.

     "Daddy, is she dead?"
     "No, she's just missing."
     "Will we ever find her?"
"If we're lucky, (Y/N).  If we're very, very lucky."

The scene dissolves, and I'm left alone.  It isn't long before I can see the fight again, but my vision is still foggy.

"Come on, you can do better than that!" someone shouts from behind me.

I turn around and see a blond boy in a black cat suit. He has bright green eyes, which I know from somewhere.

"What did that butterfly do to my sister?" I think as I fight Songheart. "Please, (Y/N), this isn't you," I say, "Snap out of it."

Her eyes widen and she steps back. "How do you know who I am?" she asks me, pointing a weapon she had pulled from her bag at me.

"I can tell by your eyes. They are, after all, the only things that remained the same," I say, smiling. Does she know who I am yet?

"No... It can't be!" she cries, taking another step backwards.

Her eyes change. When she speaks, her voice is more powerful. "It doesn't matter if I know who you are or not, mangy cat. Soon, the whole world will know your identity! All I need to do is grab your little ring," she says.

She lunges at me and grabs my ring. I watch as my costume begins to disappear. Ladybug, my new partner, takes the ring back and slips it on my finger before going into a battle with Songheart.

"Adrien!" I scream, pounding on the walls of my so-called "subconscious".

"Your brother can't hear you, (Y/N)," says Hawk Moth.

"Let me out!" I yell.

"And why would I do that?" he says.

"Let me out or else!" I say, looking him in the eyes.

He just laughs. "Or else what? You know, (Y/N), it's not much of a threat unless you're specific with what you're going to do to me," he says with an evil grin.

"This is cruel."
"Hey, you agreed to this, (Y/N),"
"How do you know my name, anyway?"
"Why do you want to know?"
"You know my name and I want to know how."
"You're a famous model, (Y/N)."
"Oh, yeah. I forgot."

We stand staring at each other for a minute before I break the silence.  "Go ahead, leave me in here to watch another horrible memory," I say, "You can't break me."

He disappears and I'm left to watch another awful memory of mine.  The scenery changes, and I can tell by looking at the calendar what day it is.

It's the day of Mom's funeral.
