Chapter Ten - A Great Mistake

~ (Y/N)'s P.O.V. ~

"Well, I guess this isn't too bad," I say to myself.

After a few hours, I realize that nobody will save me. I'm all alone.

Within a few minutes after realizing this, I can see again. I'm still battling Ladybug and Chat Noir.

     "(Y/N)," says Chat, "We'll get you back.  Don't worry."

     "I'm not giving you my akuma," I say.  "If I do, Father will lock me in my bedroom, and I'll be alone again!"

     I tackle Ladybug, and Chat Noir immediately Cataclysms my guitar case.  I collapse as my normal self.

...

     "(Y/N)," says Marinette when we get back to her house, "Are you okay?"

     I shake my head.  "You purified the akuma, right?  And you used your other power?" I say.

     She nods.  "Everyone's gone back to normal," she says.

     I sit down on her bed.  "Maybe a run will make me feel better?" I say.

     "Tikki, spots on!"
     "Mirall, time to hunt!"

     We look at each other before climbing  to Marinette's balcony.

     "What should I call you?" says Ladybug.

     I smile.  "Nix," I say, "Nix Glacier."

"Well, then, Nix," says Ladybug, "Let's go."

...

     The next morning, I walk up to Adrien. 

     "(Y/N)," he says, "Father is really upset.  You need to come home."

     "Did you tell him I ran away?" I ask him.

     "Well, of course I told him.  Nathalie got so upset that she locked herself in her office and refused to come out."
     "You know that I can't go back."
     "Father is really sorry about his reaction during dinner."
     "He is?"
     "He wanted me to tell you that he'll let you take lessons.  He'll let you keep your guitar.  Please come back."

     "Fine," I mutter, "I'll just stop at Marinette's and grab my stuff before I head back."

"Thank you," says Adrien.

...

"(Y/N)!" Nathalie exclaims as she pulls me into a hug. "You're okay! I was so worried about you!"

"I'm so sorry, Nat..." I say. "I shouldn't have just left."

"It's okay," she says. "I know why you ran away."

"You do?"
"It wasn't just about what happened at dinner, was it?"

     I shake my head. "No," I say, "It wasn't."

"Do you want to talk about it?" says Nathalie.

"Yeah," I say. "I need someone to talk to."

...

"Why did you run away?" says Nathalie.

"I didn't really think Father would care," I say. "He probably only cared because I'm part of his stupid business."

"I'm sure that's not the only reason."

I give her a look that says, "Mhm. Sure."
She glances at my pendant. "That's a nice necklace," she says. "Where did you get it?"

"I...  Um...  Can I tell you something?" I say.

     She nods.

     "This is a Miraculous," I say.  "It grants me special powers.  Please don't tell anyone.  I trust you."

     "I promise I won't tell anyone."
    
     "Thanks, Nat," I say.  "You're the best."

~ Nathalie's P.O.V. ~

     After I leave (Y/N)'s room, I go to Gabriel's office.

     "Sir," I say, "(Y/N) has a Miraculous."
