ONE WEEK LATERAlexis tries her best to stay by Dom's side over the next week. Especially, at the funeral. Alexis could tell that Dom was barely keeping it together, but was staying strong for his two younger siblings.
Adrianne was even allowing Alexis to stay the night with Dom, so that he didn't have to be alone. Dom is thankful for everything that Alexis is doing for him. So, that morning, Dom didn't bother to wake Alexis up, knowing that she needs the sleep. Dom leaves with Jakob to go to Buddy's.
"There's a couple of release forms we've got to sign," Buddy explains as he, Dom, and Jakob walk down the stairs to where Jack's stuff and car is. "Few clearances. Everything else is down there around the corner."
Dom follows Buddy while Jakob stops to look around before Jakob spots Linder walking over to Jack's car.
"Hey. Nobody's supposed to be around here," Jakob says as he walks over while Linder uncovers the burned car.
"You Toretto's other son? You're the useless one, right?" Linder questions as he points at Jakob, who grabs a wrench from a nearby tool chest. "What is that?"
"Get out of here. Go," Jakob says as he motions for Linder to leave.
"So a man can't pay his last respects?" Linder asks as he points at the wrench. "That's what that is?"
"No. No, not you. You're the one that killed him," Jakob answers him as he shakes his head.
"No, racing killed him," Linder argues with him. "Look, he knew that I was gonna pit him into the wall. He knew that. Now, I don't know if he dropped gear. I don't know."
"I swear... I swear to God, if you don't get out of here..." Jakob threatens as he walks towards Linder.
"What? What?" Linder asks as he challenges him before Dom rushes over, grabbing Jakob's arm.
"Go find Buddy," Dom orders as he takes the wrench from Jakob. "Now!"
"All right, well, now we got the golden boy," Linder says with a chuckle as Jakob walks off before Dom turns to face Linder. "No girlfriend around today?"
"Leave," Dom tells him with narrowed eyes because of him mentioning Alexis, causing Linder to nod his head.
"You here to make threats, too?" Linder asks as he motions to the wrench.
"Leave is a simple word," Dom tells him with a slight shrug.
"Man, what is it with you Torettos where you're all the heroes in your own stories?" Linder asks as he waves his hands around. "Look, I'm gonna tell you a secret. You, your dad, me... we're all stuck, going round and round in the same shitty circle. And we ain't never getting out."
"You ain't half the man my dad was," Dom states as he looks at Linder in disgust.
"At least I'm alive, asshole," Linder retorts, knowing it would anger Dom.
"You son of a bitch," Dom says as he squares up to Linder.
"Get off me!" Linder says as he punches Dom, causing him to see red as he swings with the wrench, knocking Linder to the ground.
"Dom! Dom! Dom!" Buddy yells while rushing over as Dom gets on top of Linder still swinging with the wrench.
"Dom, no! Dom! No, man!" Buddy yells as he pulls Dom away from Linder while Jakob watches everything in shock.
The police chief talks to Buddy while Jakob is in the waiting area. Alexis runs into the station while frantically looking around for Dom. Alexis sees Jakob, who is staring past her at the glass wall that Dom is behind. Alexis turns to see Dom by where he has his fingerprints done.
"Dom," Alexis says as she goes to walk over to the window but Dom slightly shakes his head no, causing her to stop before she and Jakob watch in shock as Dom is placed into a holding cell to await his trial.
Alexis attends Dom's trial where he is sentenced to two years at Lompoc Maximum Security Prison with the chance of early parole. Alexis is the first and only person besides Mia to go see Dom in prison.
"Dom!" Alexis says with a small smile as she rests her hand on the glass between them while speaking through the phone. "I miss you so much." Alexis notices that Dom won't even look at her. "Dom?"
"Alexis, I don't want you to come back here again," Dom responds before he loses his nerve. He knows that if he looks at her then he won't be able to go through with what he is about to do. "I do not want to see you. I don't want you to wait on me. Move on. Goodbye."
Alexis stares in shock as Dom stands up before he is escorted away by the guard. Alexis could not fully comprehend what just happened as she sits there before a guard tells her that she needs to leave.
"How was it?" Letty asks as Alexis gets into the car since Jakob had let them borrow his car.
"He broke up with me," Alexis responds as she stares at the window while feeling numb.
"What?" Letty asks as she looks over at her in shock.
"His exact words were, I do not want to see you. I don't want you to wait on me. Move on. Goodbye," Alexis tells her sister as tears start to fall down her cheeks.
"Oh, Lexi," Letty says as she pulls her sister into a hug the best she can since they are in the car.
"I want to go home," Alexis tells Letty as she pulls away. Letty nods before taking them home. For the next few months, Alexis did nothing but mope around and finish working on her car.
Once, Alexis finished her car, she started racing with Jakob's and Vince's help. Alexis is steadily making a name for herself. She was no longer Dom's girlfriend in anyone's eyes. She is Alexis Ortiz, the youngest female racer that the Los Angeles racing scene has ever seen.
