Previously On Blood Sucker:

"the king knows about the human girl you have in your house and he wants to meet her" I widened my eyes at the surprise and how calm he seems to be

"what? how did he know? why does the king wants to meet jessica? is he angry at me for letting a human live with me? what can I tell jessica? she doesn't know we're vampires"

"well as for how did he know, please mate is there anything keeps hidden from the king. the king is indeed very angry with you, mate for letting a human -that could spread our secret to the world- living with you and this is why he punished you by letting you figure out what will you tell that filthy human you have but one way or another the king wants to meet her next week in his castle. but trust me, this simple punishment is just the beginning" he smirked deviously

"DON'T YOU DARE CALLING HER FILTHY, YOU SON OF A B*tch" I yelled at him as a warning

"watch your mouth. did you forget who your talking to or did you believe that your actually my boss?" he hissed at me stepping closer "end of discussion, here is the letter figure something out but the king wants that girl in his castle next week. pay my hellos to the boys. see you next week,mate"

And with that, he was out of sight leaving me in huge trouble and thinking to do.

How will I tell jessica?

She can't know about us,

"I know your secret" the words left my lips before I could think of them but it worked. beau stopped in his tracks and turned around with a shocked, worried and I think also feared expression. I looked at skip and he mirrored the same expression as beau.

"what did you just say? how did you know? who told you?" beau said with fear and worry stepping close to me

"none did. I figured it out myself from your several mistakes" I said confidently making eye contact. he stared at me with an expression of anger and fear at the same time. I smirked at his reaction. now, he knows what exactly I'm talking about

"tell me right now, jessica. what secret are you talking about?" beau said very angrily. he no longer had the fear in his eyes. just anger and curiousity. I sort of feared that expression. it means that he is not afraid of me anymore. my theory of them being serial killers was occurred. he might kill me. but no I won't be afraid. i'll look strong and stay still

"so now you stopped in your tracks,ha?" I said smirking "beau, I just wanted to talk to you for a bit, please" I said stepping closer to him

"we're talking now, aren't we?" he said motionless

"well,ok. I just wanted to ask, are you still mad at me for breaking the rules?" I said looking down staring at my feet shamefully

"I'm sure you know the answer to that question" he said still motionless

"I'm sorry. I was just curious. don't blame me for being curious. you guys told me not to go there but you never said why and I needed answers. but none was giving me any" I said slowly looking up at him

"it was for your own safety,jessica. ever thought about that?" beau said

"I-I didn't. I didn't know you guys back then. but now I do. atleast I know luke skip and james well. I'd love to get to know you. they told me great thing about you and how you took their responsibilities as your priorities. I'd love to know more about you. only, If you give me the chance to do so" I said with hope in my eyes. beau was about to speak but skip cut him off

"wait so there is no "secret" you know about us and this was all just to bring attention to beau?"

'there Is a secret , skip but I won't tell you right now until I'm sure of it'  I thought but never said

"no there isn't. I just wanted beau to get attention to talk to me" I said giving him the best fake smile I could master

"so beau what do you say?" I said turning to beau with pleading eyes

"jessi-" beau tried to say but skip cut him off again

"aw come on beau. the girl is begging you. stop being an arse and give her a damn chance" skip said nudging beau in the shoulder but it worked beau gave a small smile

"fine. can we go take a walk?" beau surprisingly asked me

"O-of course" I said very shocked by the sudden change of mood

Luke's POV

I went to look for beau. he'll know what to do. I looked everywhere and didn't find him until I went to the kitchen. good skip's here.

"hey skip, do you know where beau is? we need to make a serious secret meeting. there is something so important happened" I went to look at him and he was doing the dishes

"beau is with jessica outside "bonding" and they left their dirty dishes behind so I had to wash them. what's the very important thing u wanted to talk about with us?" skip said

"we are in a huge trouble, mate. the king sent us a letter with lord oliver and it has very bad news in it" I said handing him the letter to read. he kept reading and his expression changed from normal to worried to scared to clueless, just like me

"oh shit. what are we gonna do, man?" he asked giving me back the letter

"I was hoping that we'd all figure this out together" I said scratching the back of my head

"well I can call james and tell him to come back from hunting and jai is upstairs in his room and we are here. but there is one problem" he paused and said "beau is with jessica. how will we get him to leave her and come to the secret office without her doubting?"

"piece of cake. i'll go to them, convince jessica that she Is tired from the long day and compel her to go sleep and get beau" I paused "although I hate compelling jessica but I have no other way"

"but luke, dont you have another solution? I mean the guy just forgave her and is bonding with her now and when that chance finally comes, you come and ruin it for her?" skip said siding with jessy

"well your right but skip, that's for her own good too. I mean, she will spend her whole life with us, I hope. she will have plenty of times to bond with him" I said convincing him

"whatever you say, mate" he paused for a bit and his face light up. he has an idea "wait, how about we wait until she actually sleeps and tell her we are going to a nightclub or something and we gather together in the forest. I mean it wont be long till she falls asleep 'cause she has had much going on today so it won't be necessary for you to compel her"

"that's a great idea. when did you get so smart?" I asked with sarcasm

"when did you get so stupid?" he answered with the same tone as me

"very funny. now ill go tell jai everything and you call james and tell him-" I saI'd but was cut off by a familiar voice

"tell me what?" james said standing by the door and gave us a confused look

"oh, just in time, james. we have so much to tell you and you need to switch that unbelievably smart brain of yours on" I told him smiling at my remark
