I-I didn't want to go to school today, everything was bad. My parents and girlfriend were just killed only around two weeks ago, but I got out because I was welcomed with open arms into Hope's Peak Academy, the school where everyone hopes to go.
But I had to go, otherwise I had to go back to jail.
I didn't watch the news, I didn't even need to, what was the point. I-I should just get ready for school.
Another day, another painful day spent living.
After a few minutes I was dressed in what could only be described as the movie Decedents but not on crack (his outfit in the game). I walked my way to school sulking and falling even deeper into the sadness that had consumed me with every step I took, why did they have to die, why not me?
I made it to the famous school of Ultimates after what felt like hours of sulking and letting my mind wander and theorize about what would have happened if I lost the Tennis match or if I didn't kill that Mafia group. I-I should be careful when I'm here, I read online that there's an Ultimate Yakuza James Fuyuhiko Kuzuryuu. He'll either try to kill me or try to get me to join his clan, but I wouldn't be of much help if I did join, I'd just hold that clan down, I'm useless anyways.

"OOF! Ugh,"
"Oh! Gonta so sorry! Are you ok?"
"Yeah, ugh"
"Here Gonta help you up"

The tall guy named Gonta extended out a hand for me to hopefully take, which I did.

"Thanks,"
"It isn't a problem! Gonta's name is Gonta Gokuhara, Gonta is the Ultimate Entomologist"
"Ryoma Hoshi, Ultimate Tennis Player"
"It is nice to meet you Ryoma!"
"Nice to meet you too,"
"Hey I said leave me alone creep!"
"Oh! Gonta has to leave, Gonta must be a gentleman and help that lady!"

He dashed off to help her, I somewhat chuckled at that, but why does he always say his name instead of I? I'll find out later, it's no use asking right now. I'll should just walk to class, I'm probably annoying people by just standing in the gateway.

+Y/N's POV+

It was my first day of Hope's Peak! I was nervous and excited at the same time! I don't know anyone there, OOH, maybe an old friend got in! Maybe, Ryoma got it, if so, I would be so happy! I was lucky to have lived that fire that Mafia started at my apartment, I still have the burn marks, and the survivors guilt. Enough sulking, I need to be upbeat! I need to be happy, or at least try to! I had gotten in Hope's Peak as the Ultimate Laser Tagger, I love Laser Tag so much! Ah I need to get to school, I don't wanna be late!

I walked into my classroom and looked around, all of these new people-wait, i-is that? No way,

Huh? Who said that? I suddenly felt a pair of arms being wrapped around me and bring me into one giant hug. Who's hugging me, that voice sounded familiar too, wait a minute. After the mystery person let go of me and faced me,

"Hun are you ok? Oh my God I missed you much!"
"Y/N? I-I thought you died in the fire!"
"Yeah, the hospital was wrong, I was that far into my coma that they just said that I was dead"
"Those assholes, but you're ok and that's all that matters,"

I brought her in for another hug, I can't believe she's alive,

"JUST KISS ALREADY! Nishishi!"
"Shut up you inferior purple grape"
"*sniff* It warms Gonta's heart to see Gonta's classmates so happy!"

Ok, so I haven't been really working on X Readers and stuff because of my own Danganronpa book and school, so if I don't get to your X Reader or X *character* I will, it's just gonna take a while
