Chapter 4: Day 2 of suspension.
--xx—
Horses were running across the field..
Wow They run really fast..
OH NO; THEY ARE RUNNING TOWARDS ME!
I hold my hands above my head trying to protect my face when a small white pony picks me up, as if I’m a footy.
“AYE,” I scream. “GET YOUR DITRY HOOVES OFF OF ME!”As I say this it throws me onto its back and I hold on tight to its long hair.
The pony turns his head so I can have a good look at it.
“Nathan? What the?”
I almost fall of his back from the shock.
Is this real? Nathans head on a pony’s body?
“Yeah,”
Uh my gawd; it speaks.
“Let’s be bronies? Like Pony Bru-das” he says in a sing-a-long voice.
“Y-y-yea-a-h” I hardly speak.
Stupid, stupid, stupid! Why was I nervous?
“Jessica…”
Huh?
“Jessica...”
“Hmm?”
“Get up you lazy girl!”
I feel my blankets being torn off of my warm body.
I watch my mum walk over to the window and open the blinds.
“HHHHHIIIIISSSSS.” I scream.
My mum laughs at my reaction, “Teenagers these days… Tsk, Tsk, Tsk.”
She walks out of my room and into the kitchen; I follow her.
“Aren’t you meant to be at school?”
“Erm… I got suspended for 3 days…”
“Jessica! I expect more from you.”
“I know…” I mumble. “Oh, I’m going to my friend’s house tonight. I’ll be back by 12.”
“No way missy.”
“But muuuuuuumm…” I whine “Everyone else is going!”
“No ifs or buts.” She says sharply.
“Urgh!”
I text Nathan: Can’t go, mum said no L
A few seconds later my phone is ringing
ID- Nathan
“Hello?” I say.
“Why can’t you come?” He says getting right to the point. Even though I can’t see him; I know he is pouting
“Because Miss Dragon over here said no; I told you so!”
“I’ll get Ryan to sneak you out okay?”
“Yeah; ‘Cause good girls are bad girls that haven’t been caught.”
“Really? 5 SOS?” Nathan thinks 5sos is stupid but I’m obsessed.
“Yes.” I giggle into the phone.
“Ryan will be there at 10. Okay?”
“Okay.” I say slowly “Maybe okay will be our always.”
(A/N Reference to the fault in out stars)
“Stop flirting!” He laughs.
“I’m not!” I throw my hands up in the air in frustration.
“Whatever floats your boat.”
“See you soon.”
“Yeah; bye.”
None of us hang up and after a while of listening to his short intake of air I say
“Are you going to hang up?”
“No, I’m waiting for you to hang up.”
“Let’s both hang up on the count of 3.”
“One..” He says.
“Two..” I say.
“Three!” We say together.
“STOP FLIRTING WITH ME…” We laugh.
