|To all the people I don't like...|

=====

Mark's answer had been simple that day, today's answer would be too. Donghyuck got dressed in a white suit, his waist had slimmed and you could say he looked absolutely stunning, or so Mark would've said at least.

It was many years later, many years after the hectic times they had. Everything seemed to be doing well, but it all got better once Mark had asked that one important question. He had been thinking about it for a long time, wondering how or when he should ask him to make this moment special. But Donghyuck hadn't even thought about it, he did think of marriage but he had thought it would take at least a few years longer. He had thought Mark and him would be in their 30's by the time Mark had the courage, so it most surely took Donghyuck by surprise when Mark had suddenly proposed to him on one of their usual friday nights out.

It was a good time so to speak, both of them had gotten a stable job and they were planning on buying a new home, wanting to move out of the apartment complex. All was going great and Donghyuck was ready to say those, cliché but in this moment loving yet, simple words; yes I do.

He found himself going back to when he was young, when he would daydream about this and about having their own home. He was sure it would be perfect today and, it for sure was.

Mark wore a black suit, he looked rather mature although he never lost his boy-ish looks, but that's a thing Donghyuck could only seem to find extremely cute about him (even if Mark would curse at him for calling him cute). Although more people came then they had thought, all of them were close to them.
Jisung and Chenle sat up front, holding each other's hand the same way as always. Jaemin and Jeno clinged onto each other, while Jungwoo had to push Lucas off of him because of such behaviour, he did let him hold his hand. Johnny had showed up as well, bringing his much more petit fiancé with him. He had joked, even before Mark had proposed, that "at this rate he would be the first to marry". I guess he was more than just correct after all.

And as Mark stood there, seeing the doors open and watching Donghyuck walk toward him, everything was more than just perfect to him. A wave of happiness and nervousness came over him, but overall he was over the moon.

As Donghyuck stood in front of him, Mark couldn't help but crack a cheesy smile (which only seemed to make Donghyuck even more shy). Their own written letters, they knew by heart by now, were shared. Although they didn't cry, even if Mark almost did, Johnny most surely was sobbing, earning a little arm squeeze from Ten as a sign of comfort.
Jaemin had to wipe his tears away, leaning his head on Jeno's shoulder after he got emberassed right after. Jeno had smiled at that, Jaemin was, after all, the one he would want to marry one day.

Jisung and Chenle were invested in the whole situation. Chenle wouldn't admit, but he hoped to be standing there with Jisung one day.

And after all the waiting, even if the sweet words made it all the better, Donghyuck was more than ready to answer the question. He answered without hesitation.

"Yes I do"

Mark smiled, waiting to say the same, and once he did, they leaned in for a soft but loving kiss.

Everyone in the room had smiled, clapped and cheered even. But Donghyuck was focused on their hands touching as they walked back toward the door, leading outside as they were greeted by the sun.

The day had progressed, they talked to many people, danced and laughed.

And that night, when they laid next to each other, breathing heavily, sweating and covered in each other's scents (most likely the various types of perfume they had worn), they were sure there was nothing that could break them.

=====

Around 3 months later, a bit more than 2 months after their honeymoon, they had finally settled themselves in a new home.

"Call me when you need anything" Mark said, buttoning his dress shirt. Donghyuck was still laying in bed, sun already way to present for his liking as he covered himself in the sheets once again. Mark chuckled, walking over to him to give him a peck on the lips. "Love you" he said, walking out the room to go to work like every Tuesday to Friday.
"Don't come home too late!" Donghyuck had yelled after him, chuckling at his husband who was a mess like always.

How much Donghyuck loved saying that word: Husband.

"Yeah that's my husband"

"No I can't, my husband and I have plans already"

He was alnost sure he would never get tired of saying it.
After he had laid there for another hour or so, sheets still covering his naked chest, sun still hitting his skin (his skin which had gotten tanned, "honey skin" Mark had said).
He got up, throwing a hoodie on and walking out the room. Donghyuck had the great option to work at home, instead of having to sit in an office all day. So once he entered his office at home, he smiled at how personalized it was, pictures of him and Mark and of his friends. Books scattered on the desk, he was simply too lazy to place them back on the shelves.

He opened up his laptop, waiting for the new updates to instal, he saw this one book. That one book he had used many years ago to write all his own problems in. He chuckled, tilting his head, before he decided to get up, heading over to grab it. His laptop now frozen on a photo of him and Mark on his desktop.
He pulled out the notebook between some other books, letting those fall against each other. He opened it up to the first page.

Isn't it weird? Y'know, that I, Lee Donghyuck, am writing in a book. As in, letting you know how my life is...well...it's not like anyone else will read this-

He had chuckled at his own handwriting, but mostly about the fact he had changed so much. He flipped to the next page.

My dad never listens...well it's not like I expected him to. He just simply doesn't believe me. I mean, am I really into boys? He says it's temporary but-

Donghyuck shook his head, knowing exactly what day that was. He heard the sound of his laptop closing itself again. He flipped a few pages.

There is a new boy in my class. Mark Lee. He actually sat next to me, who would've thought? It was honestly great seeing their faces when he-

Seulgi got humiliated. They all said it was me, of course they did. I swear I didn't-

Since there are so many people who are against me...here is my final list. Here is the long awaited list of all the people I don't like:

Wendy
Rose
F̶e̶l̶i̶x̶

̶J̶a̶c̶o̶b̶
̶S̶e̶u̶l̶g̶i̶
̶J̶o̶y̶
Irene
L̶i̶s̶a̶
Yeri

As the list went on, Donghyuck had almost flipped another page, fingers already tracing the edge of the paper. But as his eyes landed on the final person: his very own father.

His hand came to a stop, looking a bit longer before letting out a sigh. He grabbed a pen, crossing out his name completely, hopefully forgetting it was ever there, written in his own handwriting.
He flipped through the book, coming to a final page. Blank paper followed.
He stopped at the back of the book, clicking his pen once more before bringing it to the blank and empty paper. Yet the only words he wrote were:

To all the people I don't like
Thank you.

And with those simple and final words.

He closed the book.
