Taiji has to one of my least favourite characters in the whole series, which isn't surprising as he's one of the most hated.
Reason being that's he into very young girls. He abused Monaca just because she surpassed him by becoming chief executive and that he just didn't like kids.
He's quite cowardly due to his paranoia, and he even admits that he's not a very good leader, as he rather just hide instead of fighting back. Despite him being serious most of the time, the one time that he tries to joke about Nagisa's trauma a moment after his supposed death, which is very messed up.
And I hate how he doesn't take responsibility for what his company did during The Tragedy, but instead he hates Junko and Monaca.
Then we have him wanting to murder a ton of brainwashed children, he didn't even care that they were brainwashed.
It also states in the official Danganronpa art book, that Haiji would be sexually attracted to Kotoko if she had a better personality, and that fact makes me sick.
Honestly, the only thing I can admit about liking him, is his design, that's really it.
And so, the worse Danganronpa character gets a 1/10
