Laolu's POV

Siri seemed to be quite glued to her phone all through the party procession, I didn't really know how to start a conversation with her because I didn't know anything about her.

I threw caution to the wind and asked,

     "Would you like to dance?"

"Sure." She put her phone in her back and stood up, I took her hand in mine and we mingled with the crowd and moved our body to the beat then I started a conversation,

     "You look really pretty."

Her eyes lit up and she asked, "Really?"

     "Yes. What do you do?"

     "I can't hear you."

"I asked what you do." I said dropping my mouth close to her ears.

     "Oh! I'm a model."

"Nice." I said and we kept dancing then we went to the bar.
The bartender served us and we drank as we talked,

"So, who do you model for?"

"Kings. I am not really popular like you celebrities."

"We all started from somewhere. Hard work and determination is the key and trust me, being a celebrity isn't as fun as it seems."

     "Really?"

"Yeah, the hounding of the paparazzi, the twisted shitty stories media outlets come up with and sometimes the indecision of the fans to stay with you when you mess up and when you are upright is enough to make you go gaga crazy."

     She laughed.

"Come on. It can't be that bad. Though I am not so popular but being a celebrity, you just have to live with these things and relish it."

"I guess you are right." I said and we kept talking. I was enjoying the conversation and we already swapped about four glasses when she asked,

     "Can we go somewhere quiet?"

"Okay, where?" I asked her. I knew I should probably rent a room but you never can tell, her intentions might be pure because mine were beginning to waver.

     "Anywhere, maybe outside."

"All right, we could chill in my car."

"All right." She stood up and I led us outside using the back exit and then to my Benz.

I unlocked the car and opened the back car door for her. She stood stock still with wide eyes as she asked,

"Hahan, this your Benz no be for here o."

     I laughed, "You like am?"

"Are you kidding me, Man? I love it. It's such a beauty."

"Thank you. It just shows I have great taste."

"Oh please!" She retorted and entered the car, removing her sling bag and placing it beside her.

I got in and she asked,

"Why are we sitting at the back?"

"Because of the paparazzi team. I am not ready to be in the papers tomorrow."

     "Scared now, are we?"

"Not scared, just don't want any drama." I said and sighed, letting silence take its course before I asked again,
