The Expiration Date

hey Jesse!

I awoke to the smell of sweet pancakes sizzling and popping, at the realisation that they would be done soon, I ran to my bathroom and quickly brushed my teeth, I walked around grabbed a pair of trousers bottoms and head downstairs, thankfully the pancakes still frying.

"Hey Tina you want some?" My mam asked clearly talking about the pancakes

"Was that even a question?" I say looking at her with a raised eye brow and grabbing a chair

"Only asking angel" she says turning to the mixture in the jug poring more into the pan, that's when I hear discussing chomping notices coming from a certain 3 year old monster

"Mary do you HAVE to eat like that? Your worse than Bobby!" She just sticks her tongue out, and makes it clear that she's being eating 'egh' I think as I quickly turn from the sight to then lay my eyes on my favourite 12 year old brother

"Bobby!"

"Tina can you take me to the park today I'm meeting my friend Tim"

"Isnt his brother Jesse?"

"Yeah that one, please?"

"Of course I will! Happy too, are you both coming back later?"

"I hope so I'll have to ask jesse first" he says sitting down next to me

"Ugh, why is Mary so gross!"

"I KNOW RIGHT!!!" I say throwing my hands in the air

"Stop being horrible to mary, you gonna make her cry" mary instantly shows a face of pure evil, as a certain idea pops into her head

"MOOOOOOM THERE SOOOOO MEAN" she says fake crying

"Mary, do think I was born yesterday? I know your fake cry when I hear it" mary in response crosses her arms and huffs

I sit up and cheak the time its 10:10, when I hear I knock on the door, I run to open the door not realizing I'm in my joggers and a small top

"Well if I knew you meant CASUAL i would have put less effort into my outfit" tom says leaning against the door eyeing me up and down, I quickly look at myself, oops

"SORRY I was just eating, and my brother and the park and...em I just gonna get changed and stuff.. err."
But before I can continue to ramble

"My you should do that thing where you shut the door and open it again," he says referring to the first time we went and I was a rambling mess before reopening the door with a new self confidence.

"Haha yeah, um just come sit in the living room, while I get changed" he nods and heads to the couch, while I sprinted up stairs to try and quickly get ready, I went for black Jean's and a yellow top that has daisies dressed on it and a cute jacket that is styled with camouflage, I walk down stairs to be meet with my brother and jesse

"I thought you were taking me to the park to meet tim"

"Oh so your the kids hes meant to meet?" Jesse says back to a very annoyed Bobby

"Jesse is okay if we..."

"Of course it's no problem at all" he says winking at me and standing up straight from the wall he was leaning on

We all plow into the car and turn the radio on, while the song plays in the background

"Where are yous too going?"

"Were just going for coffee" jesse replys giving the kid a wink

We reach the park and Bobby gets out
I turn up beat it by Michael Jackson and make our way to Starbucks

"So... hows the coding going?"

"Are we seriously gonna talk about code?"

"Well that's why were on this date?"

"Your really passionate about this app? You really think its gonna be ground breaking?"

"Well I dont see why not?"

"I like your enthusiasm!" He says taking a slow slurp of his coffee

"Okay then.... what you wanna talk about that isnt exasperation date?"

"Exasperation date? That's the name?"

"Yeah I think it's pretty cool!" I say with slight anger in my voice with is instantly followed by laughter

"What like milk or something?"

"God the amount of times someone brings up milk....WAIT that should be the logo! Like a milk bottle or something!"

"Haha your really are the little brain stormers arnt you?"

"What can I say!..."

"I thought we went gonna talk about the Exaspreation date?"

"Whoops?"

"No, no, come on, so hows your week been?"

"Well I doubt youd wanna hear about...." but before I could continue, he shows up, MY GoD he is like Beatle juice! He just show up

"Stan"

"Hey tina is that you..... and jesse?"

"Yes, hi stan, what a pleant surprise to see you here"

"Yeah I could say the same, so, you guys on a date or something?" He says laughing like he made a joke but you could tell he was being serious

"No, just coffee, can I not have coffee?"

"No I'm not saying that just....nothing"

"Okay then... bye stan!"
"I am so sorry, about, that, that's what actual went wrong with my week"

"What you mean stan made your week bad?"

"Yeah, sorta broke it off with him"

"OH I see where exasperation date came in then,"

"You could say that, come on then enough about me, how about your week?"

"Nothing much just a normal school week, oh expect the last few days, I got a strange call from a friend asking me to do a favour for her, I turn up at there house, and I meet this really cute girl, who clearly blushes as soon as she opens the door 'she didnt expect me to be so handsome', and I thought for my handy work I could take her on a date"

I blush again

"Sounds like you have had an Intresting week, and you could be wrong about that girl"

"Say how?"

"Well who ever this girl is might have just expected to see glasses and worts not blond hair and muscles"

"Um could be but I think this girl fancies me" he says leaning back on the sofa

"Oh well I hope she does for your sake" I say also leaning back on the sofa which earns a chuckle from him.
