Chapter 25
"Through your incredible faith which is a mighty fortress that stands any test. The evil genie will grant you success. God creates miracles in your life because you believe in HIM. I lost my faith at Pickett's Charge."
Her heart crowded her throat.
"Your success will come through your belief in miracles, love of God and remarkable clairvoyance. I believe in your faith in HIM. I saw how your faith allowed you to overcome adversity and I witnessed your healing ability."
He truly knew her. She felt joyful. She felt the presence of the Holy Spirit for a moment before she was suddenly chilled.
"You are cold. This will keep you warm." He wrapped a gray shawl that was folded on the back of the sofa around her shoulders.
"My hands are ice cubes."
"Please allow my assistance. I will take care of you, I promise, as I've always done." He rubbed her hands until they were warm.
"Better?"
"Much, thank you." This was so weird. Her ghost husband just warmed her up. She visibly relaxed and felt light-hearted for the first time in weeks.
