Chapter 6

Olivias POV

Today is Thursday. Finally the end of the week. I'm so freaking tired of school. Today, I'm actually exited for school because I can actually hang out with someone. Mark. He can actually get a smile on my face.

It's 7:05 am and school starts at 8. I just finished getting ready and now I'm heading out. I actually like my outfit today. I'm wearing a tight white long sleeve with grey jeans and white slide on vans. It's simple but cute.

I just arrived at Dunkin' Donuts. It's 7:19. When I got up to the cashier, the guy that usually takes my order wasn't there. I went up to the new person at the cashier. It was a girl. She had nice short blonde hair and brown eyes with an amazing curvy body that looks like it belongs to a model.

Damn. What was this girl doing working at Dunkin' Donuts.

Wait, I recognize that girl. Where did I see her before? Oh yeahh! She was that annoyed customer I saw at my shift on Tuesday. Hopefully she doesn't recognize  me.

"Hi, is jake here?" Jake is the guy I see everyday he knows my order and I just feel comfortable around him. He's never missed a day at work. It might not be something big but I'm just a bit worried. He lives with his dad who is very sick so he works to get money to look after his dad and himself. Jakes a really good guy but we can't hang out cuz he has to go to college and while he's at home he's with his dad. I'm worried about his dad. Did something happen to him. Hopefully not.

"No sorry I'm the new worker. He changed his shift to 8 pm. My name is Salma" she said while flashing me a gorgeous smile and putting her hand out for me to shake it. Phew, it doesn't look like she recognized me. Well, how could she if she can barely see my face. I'm so dumb.

She seems nice but I've known her for literally 1 minute so I don't think I should get too comfortable.

I shook her hand and gave her a smile in return. "Can I get a medium iced vanilla latte please"

"Okay" she said while writing my order on the cup

"What's your name?" She asked

"Olivia" she wrote it down on the cup and I walked to the other side to wait for my drink.

When I got my drink, I headed out. While I was leaving, Salma gave me another beautiful smile and said "have a great day Olivia"

I smiled back. "You too Salma" I replied and left.

That was a nice start to my morning. My life is turning upside down. Well, I shouldn't get my hopes up but I can't help it. I haven't been this happy in forever!

I arrived at school at 7:38 and went to the library. I usually do this everyday since I always arrive early. There's barely anyone at the library this early and sometimes its all empty. I love reading in my free time. I'm currently reading the wilting rose by salma Elmalky (her book is on wattpad, go read it!). I'm half way through the book and so far I like it.

When I walked into the library I immediately saw Mark but he was standing there with Sara. The most popular, rude and selfish girl at our school but that's not how everyone else sees her. She's Noah's girlfriend. Everyone idolizes her but she's nothing. Sara thinks she's better than everyone and makes people feel horrible but because she's gorgeous everyone loves her. I have to admit she is really gorgeous but come on it doesn't matter what's on the outside it's what's on the inside. Wake up people!! She has the body of a Victoria secrete model. Sara has long dark brown hair with hazel eyes and a really sharp jaw line.

I'm kinda upset. Yesterday I went on a whole rant telling Mark about how bad Sara was and here he is taking to her. She's laughing at something he said and her amazing smile showed. Ugh. He's not gonna be able to resist her. I can't chose his friends and tell him who he can talk to but it's disappointing. It's like what I said doesn't even matter. I guess people don't trust me. That's why I don't trust people either. I guess my amazing morning was ruined.

I walked out of the library and read in my car instead until the bell rang.

The rest of the day I just sat at the back of the class and tried to be as invisible as possible which wasn't hard. At all.

Mark sat next to Sara for most classes and didn't even notice me. So, I had a great day. Note the sarcasm.

I just got back home. After school I went to the national library and read for a few hours. I'm not hungry and not in the mood to watch anything so I'll go for a run. I put on some leggings and a tank top with my hoodie incase I see someone from school and headed out.

I'm listening to Olivia O'Brien. Was it even real? Is the album name. I love it.

I saw a tall figure in the distance but didn't think anything of it. It's 8:45 so I don't really see that many people.

I was so into the song (love myself by Olivia O'Brien to be exact) when I suddenly bumped into something really hard. Ouch that hurt. I fell to the ground and when I looked up I saw someone I never expected to see.
