Natalie's P.O.V

I told Zane that I was going to sleep, but I didn't actually do that. I tried to, but I couldn't. I kept thinking about this over and over again.

I was almost sure that David and Liza were going to get back together, they were a perfect match and everyone wanted them together. I couldn't imagine how many fans he'd lose if I was the one he chose to have a relationship with.

I needed an escape, a really really fast escape. What if I just leave? I'll tell David that I got an urgent call to go back home, this way I can get my mind off things.

After a while, it was almost midnight and David wasn't home yet. I bet they're already back together.

I hated this feeling so bad, I just wanted to rip my fucking heart out. And so I decided to go along with the plan that I had.

I packed a small bag, I wasn't going to be gone forever anyways. I called home and told them what to say if David calls. I also promised to explain to them what was going on the moment that I got home.

This was a dumb plan but I knew that if I saw David and Liza together, I'd die inside, and I honestly wasn't ready for that.

David's P.O.V

I was aware that it was getting late, but I was at Liza's apartment and she wouldn't let me leave.

She kept asking me stay over, she also kept trying to make a move on me but I blocked them all out.

"How about a movie?" She asked, after I told her a million times that I had to get going.

"How about I leave?" I asked back. It was a bit rude of me but I had enough of her trying to get me to stay. I just wanted to go see Natalie already.

"How about I leave with you?" She smiled, obviously not getting the point.

I rolled my eyes, "Liza, I'm going to get going now."

"No!"

"Why not?" I asked with visible frustration.

"David, I don't get why the fuck aren't you willing to try with me for the sake of this relationship!"

"You don't get it? Liza, for god's sake, you left me because you decided that fame was more important than our relationship. You didn't even try to keep in touch with me. You changed so fucking much. I tried so hard to get over you, and when I finally fall for someone else, you suddenly wanna try again?"

She was a bit taken back and she stayed silent for a while before she decided to speak, "This is all about Natalie isn't it?"

"What?"

"You said you finally fell for someone else, it's Natalie isn't it?" She spoke dryly.

Fuck.

"I said that?" I asked, trying to act oblivious.

She sighed, "Just leave, David."

"Look, Liza," I started in an attempt to fix this. I didn't mean to confess that I had feelings for Natalie.

"No. Don't," She cut me off and walked straight to her room.

David, you stupid motherfucker. What if she tells Natalie? I needed to get home right away and make sure that Nat and Liza don't interact.

I grabbed my keys and rushed out of the house as fast as my feet could take me. The ride home felt like a highway to hell because of all the anxiety I was undergoing.

I finally got home. I managed to get inside even though I literally trembling. I was nervous as fuck and if you gave me a choice, I'd rather have a microwave thrown at my face right this moment than find out that Liza told Natalie about my feelings for her.

"Natalie?" I called out, but I didn't get an answer. My anxiety increased and I hoped that the reason she wasn't answering was because she was fast asleep like the angel she was.

I walked closer to her room and spoke again, "Nat?"

I knocked on her door, but no one answered. By now, my heart had fallen down to my feet. I slowly opened the door, and as I feared, no one was inside.

The room was oddly neat, and Natalie's basic stuff, like her phone, her charger, her perfume, even her bag of makeup, wasn't there.

Calm down, David.

Fuck it, I couldn't calm down. I reached to my phone so fast it almost fell out of my grip. I then dialed Natalie's number and prayed to god that she'd pick up.

I wasn't disappointed because soon enough, Nat's beautiful voice filled the silence.

"Hello?" She spoke softly.

"Nat, where are you?"

She let out a slight nervous laugh, "Well, uhm, I'm on the way back home?"

I let out a relieved sigh, "Oh, how long will it be till you get here?" I asked, feeling my anxiety relax a little.

The line went silent for a bit, but then she spoke, "Not that home, David."
