TATTOOS
it's not that jeno actually likes getting tattoos.
they hurt like hell, both during and after, almost stinging and burning through jeno's skin. at least he gets donghyuck and mark to do his bidding for a day after each new one.
no, he doesn't like the tattoos. he likes seeing the cute boy who always does them. jaemin agrees, so when either boys returns to the shop, the other always tags along for 'moral support'.
the boy they've taken a special liking to (renjun, if jaemin's read his name tag right), they've seen him and his friend yangyang around the shop. most of the time, they're down on luck and are left with yangyang, but that isn't bad either.
but renjun is special, because whenever they get him as their artist, they leave with huge smiles.
renjun is small, petite, smaller than the both of them. his chocolate brown hair however, is almost shoulder length at the back, so he ties it back, which causes his highlights to show up more.
whenever jeno sees him, he has his ears full of sparkling piercings, and the boy has multiple smaller tattoos, tasteful and cute all over him. wrists, shoulders, ankles and fingers.
but the one time jeno goes for a larger work, actually just wanting the tattoo, luck must really be on his side, because him and jaemin are left with renjun this time.
as renjun helps him settle, pulling on his gloves and tucking his hair behind his ears, jaemin decides to start a conversation, and they find out that they're all the same age.
renjun talks to him as he sterilises jeno's shoulder, and the younger watches in the mirror as renjun and jaemin hold a light hearted conversation, and he simply smiles.
soon enough, the needle is ready to go, and jaemin laughs as him and jeno link hands, with renjun's curious eyes wandering to their interlocked fingers. he asks about them, simply out of curiosity.
and of course they tell him-and he smiles, tells them that they're very lucky to have each other as he begins to work. jeno grits his teeth, and despite the pain, he finds a way to forget it through renjun and jaemin's conversation.
so by the end of their usual encounter, jeno and jaemin really must have luck on their side, because they each leave with a lipgloss stain on the cheeks and a slip of paper with a certain boys phone number on it.
