- First day -

"Ok deep breaths Brooke, you've started In a new unit plenty of times before it's gonna be good" Brooke thought to herself as she was walking up the stairs into the 21st precinct
With her belongings in a box in her hands,a box of donuts on top of the box and her badge and gun around her waist.

She spotted a lady looking down at files standing behind the front desk Brooke guesses she talks to her first.

"Excuse me ma'am" she says as she walks to the front desk.

The lady looks up and gives her a 'what can't you see I'm busy' look.

" I'm sorry to bother you,can you point me to intelligence, I'm detective Brooke spencer I'm starting in there unit today" Brooke says politely while showing her badge as proof she's actually police,she did However have to but the box down for a second before she drops everything.

"Up the stairs,through those gates,follow the rest of the stairs round,your palm should already be up and running" platt says while looking down at her files.

"Great,thank you Sargent-" Brooke starts to say before looking at her name tag before finishing "platt" before picking her stuff back up and going up the stairs.

Brooke then goes up to the gate, scans her palm on the scanner, she opens the gate and continues to walk up a further two story's of stairs...

At the top of the stairs all eyes were on her

"Brooke spencer?" A man with a gravelly voice asked

"Yes sir,that's me" Brooke replied

"I'm Sargent Hank Voight,welcome to intelligence"

"Thank you for having me Sargent"

Voight gave her a nod with a small smile before turning to the rest of his unit "everyone this is detective Brooke spencer she's going to be joining our unit,make her feel welcome" before turning to a dirty blond ,clean shaven guy,then at me "Brooke your partnered with jay Halstead" before turning around and disappearing into his office and closing the door behind him

Soon after the same brunette guy comes up to me "hi, I'm jay nice to meet you"

"Hey, I'm Brooke, I'm really sorry but can you please show me my desk before my arms fall off" Brooke says starting to struggle holding the box of belongings

"Sure,here let me get that for you" jay laughs while taking the box from Brooke

"Thank you so much" Brooke says, giving jay the box

"oh and I also brought donuts Iv got, glazed,chocolate,strawberries and cream and s'mores, which is my personal favourite"

"Your off to a great start" a dirty blonde guy with a beard comes over about to grab one when I gently but firmly slap his hand away

"Hold on, your just gonna grab a donut before introducing yourself" I jokingly say

"I LIKE HER" everyone says in unison which makes me laugh slightly

"Sorry my bad,I'm Adam ruzek" he says while hesitantly grabbing a donut again

Then everyone else does the same

"Antonio Dawson" a Latino man says while grabbing a donut

"Any chance your related to gabby Dawson at 51"
