Shelly's POV
Shelly was moving hair out of her face when she remembered a way the colonists tortured British tax collectors.
"Tarring and feathering, a type of public humiliation." She said aloud while eating lunch.
"Huh?" Nita asked who was sitting beside her.
"I've got some work to do. Hey Nita, are you good friends with Bo?" Bandita (Shelly) asked.
"Pretty good. Why Bandita?" Nita replied.
"I need to get in touch with his 'spirits'" Bandita grinned. "Pluck some feathers off them."
"Um.. sure. Actual- never mind." Nita said nervously.
After persuading Bo to give her some feathers, she sought for hot pine tar.
"Who would have hot pine tar? Maybe... doesn't- ah ha!" Shelly exclaimed.
She ran to a stand and gave the merchant 10 gems.
"Habalababah!" Gene said (translated: that'll be one wish, coming up!) as he picked up his lamp.
"Some hot pine tar." Bandita requested and pine tar popped right on the counter. She walked to an archer tax collector and started to pour.
"Hey- OW! THAT BURNS!" The archer yelled.
Shelly pulled out the feathers and sprinkled them on.
"You'll get it when you're in court..." the archer grumbled when Crow came and snipped off the archer's long, pink hair.
"Okay, but now, don't ruin everyone's fun, will ya?" Shelly joked. The archer glared at her but said nothing.
"Curse you, Bandita," She finally said in a muffled voice to prevent tar getting in her mouth. "Only you're having fu-"
"Ha ha!" The people surrounding them burst into laughter as if on cue. "Bandita! Bandita!" They chanted. Shelly looked around the circle of brawlers surrounding them when she saw a poster plastered on a building.
Shelly stopped dead in her tracks as she stared in disbelief. People stopped cheering and the street went silent. Shelly sweared that she could hear a tumbleweed blow a few yards away but she was too stunned to look. All she focused on was the poster and if she needed glasses. She glanced around after a moment of awkwardness and saw Colt, then Penny, then Bibi, and then finally Rico baring the same expression except Rico's head fell off. Shelly's mind panicked as she made the first move in the silence.
Bibi's POV
Bibi was standing in the silence, waiting for something to happen. I mean, why wouldn't something happen? There's literally an archer tax collector covered in a sticky substance and feathers- good part on Bandita- standing there for goodness sake! Bibi thought.
"Ahem." Shelly abruptly said. She marched over to the poster and ripped it off, creating a satisfying riiiiiiip for a second. Bibi glanced at Colt. She had known that Colt had a crush on her ever since he laid eyes on her, but for some reason, Bibi thought she looked... unusually similarly odd to Shelly if that makes sense.
Bibi then thought about her love life. It was completely empty, except for family who she didn't really appreciate.
The crowd had cheered as they started to spread apart. Bibi did the same as she awaited a new crush investigation about who has a crush on Bandita and who Bandita had a crush on. After hours of being somewhat of a Cupid detective, Bibi revealed all the info she could gather, she put together these.
Crushing on Bandita
Colt
Maybe Brock?Who Bandita Crushes on
Possibly Colt?"I was hoping to get more..." Bibi grumbled.
Knock! Knock! Somebody was knocking on Bibi's front door. Bibi yelled "OCCUPIED!" But the hand kept knocking. Bibi opened the door to see a witch and a whole army of skeletons standing in front of her. The witch gave her a book about the Quartering Acts, said "Thank you." And walked away while the skeleton's bones rattled and clattered.
The nerve of some people... Bibi complained in her head as she rolled her eyes, then, her eyes widened.
"MR. BAT!" Bibi cried. Bibi snatched Mr. Bat from some skeletons and cradled Mr. Bat protectively.
"Well the nerve of some brawlers!" The witch snapped. She shot a purple destructo beam towards Bibi (wiki told me destructo beam) but Mr. Bat deflected.
"Ding! Your order is ready," Bibi smirked. "Here's one knuckle sandwich to the face!" Just then, the witch spawned in four skeletons as Bibi was jumping at the witch- and oh would ya look at that? Bibi fell into a grave and screamed.
Bibi rubbed her eyes and looked around her. It was pitch black and all she could see was the light glow on Mr. Bat Because his knock back was ready.
"I am so vulnerable right now." Bibi whimpered when she heard the sound of rocks being crunched beneath feet that weren't hers. Suddenly, Bibi was pushed and lurched forward. She felt a large, round gun being pressed to her neck.
"Hands up! You're being robbed and possibly killed!" The attacker told Bibi in a defensive tone.
"Please no! At least spare Mr. Bat for me!" Bibi pleaded.
"Bibi?" The attacker asked. "I thought you were a skeleton or a miner from Clash Royale! I'm glad I realized it was you before... you know.."
"Who are you!?" Bibi asked frantically when the attacker hugged Bibi. Bibi smelt the familiar scent of salt water in the attacker's hair. "Penny?" Bibi gulped.
"Right on!" Penny answered as Bibi let out a big sigh of relief.
"How did you get down here?" Bibi asked when they started to walk along the cave.
Penny's POV From a Few Hours Ago...
Penny was walking home from the Bandita scene. As she got closer, she noticed a miner standing at her door.
"What is it?" Penny asked, obviously discomforted from the miner.
"I'm here to live here. Are you the owner?" The miner responded. Penny pounced onto the miner with anger. The miner dug down into the earth with Penny clenched on his back. Once they crashed down into the tunnels, the miner raced away, leaving Penny blind in the dark. Penny then pulled out her lucky coin that gave a soft light only to the owner to the coin.
Bibi's POV Present Time
After Bibi told Penny her story, (which I assume you already know) they saw a bright light that was neither Mr. Bat or the lucky coin.
"Yes!" They both cheered in in sync. They blushed in embarrassment and before Penny could, Bibi said "JINX!" They laughed as they got closer to the light. As they got closer and closer, they both realized that the light was a glow in the dark staircase that, with the darkness, was completely opaque.
Fresh air... Bibi thought when the two saw daylight.
"Bye Bibi!" Penny said.
"Bye Penny!" Bibi said back happily.
Bibi walked to a stand where newspapers were being sold, but there were brawlers protesting the Stamp Act.
"Get your own money!" "Then how come you have so many troops if you're in debt?" "Hmph!" "No dollars without brawlers!" (No taxation without representation.) the brawlers were chanting. After a few minutes of staring, Bibi headed home.
