Klaus

"Come on, princess lets go" I yell up the stairs waiting for her to get her stuff together so we can go shopping. I swear she takes five years to get ready.

"Almost ready," she yells back to me and I can hear her scrambling around in her room. I sigh and go to the living room to sit on the couch. I pull out my phone and notice I have a few missed calls from my siblings, Elijah and Rebekah.  I immediately groan and step outside to call my brother back.

(Phone call K-Klaus & E- Elijah)

E- Ahh Niklaus about time you get back to me

K- I'm with Emmy I'm sorry brother, what's up?

E- I apologize to interrupt your time with her but something has come up.

K- Well what happened? Can it be handled without me?

E- No it can not, you are needed

I groan and pinch the bridge of my nose between my eyes.

K- Okay, I'll be there as soon as I can.

I quickly hand up and stuff my phone in my pocket and walk back inside. I turn around as I hear Emmy coming downstairs. I watch her walk down the stairs and admire her outfit and smile at her. (Outfit pictured above)

"Hai daddy!" She says as she gets to the bottom of the stairs and wraps her arms around me. I smile and chuckle a little as I pick her up and hug her back.

"Well hello there cutie," I smile as I give her a kiss on her forehead "Are you ready to go princess?" I ask her as I slowly set her down. She smiles and nods as she grabs her purse off the shelf by the stairs. She then practically drags me out the door, I've never seen someone so excited to go grocery shopping.

"Come on daddy let's go!" She says pulling me to my car. I chuckle and quickly follow behind her. I open the door for her and wait for her to get in before putting her seat belt on. She smiles up at me and I give her a quick kiss on the cheek. I close the door and walk around the car to get into the driver's seat. Before I even have time to ask what Emmy wants to listen to she has the aux cord connected to her phone as she waits for me to turn the car on. I smile and turn the car on intrigued to know what we are going to listen to. After the car starts, I hear the beginning of "Let it Go" from the Frozen soundtrack start to play, oh gosh here we go. I slowly pull out and start driving to the grocery store as Emmy starts singing along to the radio.

"Let the storm rage on... The cold never bothered me anyway!" My baby girl screams along to the radio after being warned 3 times to not scream. I reach for the radio and turn the volume down. She quickly looks at me "Daddyy why'd you do that?" she whines as she asks me. I simply shake my head.

"Baby girl, I have told you 3 times now not to scream," I say looking over at her "Now you can keep listening to the music but if I have to tell you one more time it gets turned off," I state looking back at the road as I continue driving to the grocery store. I see her nod out of the corner of my eye and she reaches to turn the radio back up.

"It's funny how some distance makes everything seem small.." She starts to sing in a normal voice and I smile. She has a beautiful singing voice when she isn't screaming the lyrics. The song ends and she continues playing Disney tunes after a while we pull into the store parking lot.

"Okay princess," I say parking the car and looking at her "I need you to either hold my hand or hold the cart but you need to always stay right where I can see you, do you understand baby girl?" I ask as I unbuckle my seatbelt. She smiles and nods.

"I understand Daddy, I'll stay right by your side," she says and she too unbuckles her seatbelt "Unless I see stuffies," she giggles. I chuckle and shake my head, I should've known that. I get out if the car and walk around to the passenger side to let her out. I open the door and she smiles "Thank you, Daddy," shes says climbing out of the car and standing on her tippy toes to give me a quick kiss. I kiss her back and shut the door before grabbing her hand and interlacing our fingers as we walk into the store.

After getting all the food and drinks we think she needs I lead us to the toy section "Okay baby girl since you were so good and stayed by my side the whole time you can pick out one toy and one stuffie," I say as I nod for her to look around. She squeals and smiles as she hops down the aisles looking at all the toys. I slowly follow behind her watching how adorable and happy she is. She grabs a stuffie and runs back over to the cart.

"Daddy Daddy Daddy can I get this one pretty please?" She says holding up a green triceratops and I smile and nod.

"Yes princess you can, put it in the cart and pick out your toy," she quickly shakes her head and hugs the dinosaur to her chest and I smirk. "Okay okay you can hug him but pick out your toy so we can go check out," she nods and continues looking around. She runs back over with a big bucket of slime.

"Daddy please," she pleads and gives my the puppy dog face knowing I can't say no.

I sigh "If I let you get that you need to promise me you only play with it at the table," she whines and I raise an eyebrow at her "I mean it little one, I don't want you making a mess," she sighs and nods as she puts it in the cart.

"I promise I'll only play with it at the table Daddy," she smiles and gives me a hug. I wrap my arm around her and kiss the top of her head.

"Good are you ready to go?" I ask and she nods as she pulls away and hugs her new dino stuffie walking right beside me. We go to self-checkout and scan everything. I reach in my back pocket for my wallet when Emily stops me. "What is it, baby?" I ask looking down at her.

"You can't pay for all of this stuff," she says as she grabs her own wallet. I take that time to quickly slide my card into the chip reader. She comes back and scoffs "Klaus!" She yells and I look at her raising my eyebrow at her again.

"First of all you do not yell at me little one," I say sternly and she nods looking at the ground. I gently lift her head so she's looking at me "Second I know you don't want me to pay for this stuff but I want to spoil you that's my job as your Daddy princess," I say softly and kiss her forehead. She sighs and nods as she puts her wallet away. We put the bags in the cart and walk out to the car to unload everything. "Okay Daddy's going to put the cart away you stay right there," I say pointing at where she's standing she quickly nods and smiles as she watches me walk away. I put the cart in the cart corral and walk back to the car, leading Em to the passenger side I open the door and she slides into the seat as I buckle her up and give her a kiss on the cheek. I walk around the car and hop in putting my own seatbelt on before starting up the car and driving back to her house.

"Thanks for taking me shopping and for buying me this new stuffie Daddy," she says as we drive off and I smile as I continue driving.

"Of course baby girl, you needed groceries

"Of course baby girl, you needed groceries. What are you going to name it?" I ask motioning to her dino stuffie that she is still clinging to her chest. She thinks for a little bit before she answers.

"Ohh I know, I'm gonna name him Tiny Chomps," she says giggling at her made-up name. I chuckle a little at the name and smile.

"Good name baby girl," I say as I pull into her driveway. "Okay, do you think you can run inside and set Tiny Chomps down and help Daddy with the groceries?" I ask as we get out of the car. She quickly nods and runs towards the house to do exactly that. She comes back and smiles at me. We unload the groceries and put them away before relaxing on the couch.
