HARRY'S POV:

I pull up into the driveway of Niall's home hoping that its the right place. I park and get out of my car feeling cold air blow through my heavy coat, and scarf, stinging my face.

I open my trunk, to get out my two suitcases and walk to the front door.

I put my luggage down on the step and I knock on the front door, ready for Niall to pop up in the doorway and greet me with a huge hug, but instead, a brown headed boy with beautiful pale blue eyes opens the door.

Great, wrong place.

His hair, shaggy and it hung just above his eyebrows. He looks older than I, but not by much. He wears a plan white t-shirt with black skinnies and Vans on his feet.

"Hi-," I say about to apologize for being the wrong house when he interrupts me.

"Hey? Aren't you Harry? Niall's friend?" he questions me.

His voice sounds familiar, and he has a thick accent.

I nod to answer his question, "Come in, Niall isn't here at the moment. I think he is either shopping or at work, he might of got called in, I never know where he is, until he comes home and tells me, but he is usually at Walmart, at work, or here."

He has a tone when he speaks an annoyed tone as if he does want me here. But I can't seem to see what he's thinking, he hides his emotion well.

"Why are you staring at me like that?"

"I'm a cop, and I interview criminals and people to see if their lying, it's a gift really, I can read people's emotions, even by someone's eye twitch and that alone basically tells me what their thinking," is what I wanted to say, but instead I ask, "staring at you like what?"

"Never mind," he rolls his and and glances at my bags and averted his eyes back to mine.

"Do you need me to help you with anything? he inquires obviously not wanting to help.

"No I think I got it, I just need to know where to go," I answer.

He motions for me to follow him, we walk past the kitchen, past the dining room and a crossed to the living room. "Sit your bags in the room the third room on the left down the hallway," he points down the hall.

I turn past the rocking chair to go down the hall, pictures hang of the boy and Niall, laughing and smiling. The walls are wood and the carpet is light brown, thick and fluffy. I feel the boy staring at me as I start down the hallway. The hallway is narrow, the first door is on the left, the door was opened, a bathroom. The second door was also on the left side of the hallway, the door shut, Niall told me which room was his, it was this one. The third door was on the right just a little bit down the hallway from Niall's room, it's open and it's another bathroom. A ways down the hallway two doors faced each other. The the door on the right was closed and it had a metal sign with a sharpen chainsaw chain around the edges saying "don't dare to come in this room, for it is locked at all times unless I'm in here" figuring it was the boy's, I turned to the door on the left and opened it.

I knew it was the right room because it was the third door on the left.

I walk in to a blue themed room. It has light blue carpet, the walks we're not wood anymore, they were smooth walls painted with a grey. I set my bags on the blue covered bed and opened the white empty drawers to start unpacking.

I unpacked pretty quickly for I had very little in each suitcase. I walk back down the long hallway once again seeing the boy still staring at me as I figured he was before.

"So, are you one of Niall's friends?" I ask feeling awkward.

"Yes, his best friend and I am also his roommate. I share this house with him," He replies with yet again, another tone.

I nod understanding. He hasn't told me his name, but I can tell he chose not too. Why?

"So. How long have you and Niall been friends?" he asks breaking the awkward silence.

"For about a year now but we get along real well." I answer, he turns his face away from mine and walks into the kitchen.

"Umm... excuse me sir?" I question watching him he turn back around to face me, he hummed and raised his eyebrows which said "what" his facial expressions telling me that he's annoyed

"I don't think you ever told me your name, so if you don't mind me asking, wha-"

"Tomlinson, my name is Louis Tomlinson," he interrupts.

okay so, the chapters that has harry's pov in it are going to be longer because harry is a cop and he also investigates criminals and people to see if they're lying or not, he interviews people and he know what every tiny movement in a persons face that makes it a certain emotion. but harry being able to to that is based off of the tv show 'Lie to Me'.

vote and comment :)
