My mom and dad found each other because my mom lived by an important landmark and always stood in front of it when their vision switched. The vision swap ended for my mom when she married my dad, but after I was born, my dad got the visions again, and ran off to meet my stepmother. I live with my mom in New York, and I know my soulmate lives somewhere in Europe. My best friend is in Germany this month, and he said that he'd keep an eye out. My mom told me not to get my hopes up, and that the whole system was a lie.

I think my mom is just lonely... but really, without any visions, there's no helping her. I do feel bad, but I can't do much. Most people get pictures of maybe a few seconds, and some of them are lucky to get maybe a minute, but I'm a rare case. I've gotten hours, I've drawn her face in the mirror, I've seen pictures of her family through her eyes. I've been wondering when my new image was going to come through, I was due for a new one soon. I was sitting on the couch on my phone, today was my day off so I didn't have much to do.

At about 6:30, my vision started to get blurry. It was like I fell asleep and woke up somewhere else. I was seeing through her vision. She was at a bar with a couple friends, and was drinking soda. I didn't know that she didn't drink, or maybe she was just the designated driver this time. She was an amazing dancer, and every once in a while got some of her blonde hair in her face. Her dancing partner spun her around and I caught a glimpse of a familiar face.

"Wait, what...?"

She stopped as if she could hear me. She looked around for who said that, but couldn't find anyone.

"U-Um... that guy at the bar."

She turned towards the bar and I saw him, my best friend Francis was sitting there.

"Francis?"

She went over and gently touched his shoulder, I couldn't hear what she heard, but I could read his lips. He said 'Yes, that's me.'

"That's my friend! My friend Francis! Fran, it's Hannah! Hannah Kennedy!"

Francis' eyes went wide and he stood up. He mouthed 'Oh my god' before my world went dark again. I jumped up and grabbed my phone, opening my messager, texting Francis.

"WHAT BAR ARE YOU IN, WHAT CITY ARE YOU IN, AND WHAT'S THE FASTEST WAY TO GET THERE???"
