Chapter 1 : Cadets

Commander Shard looked out of the HQ, right next to Major Angel, and Second Lieutenant Sydd. They stared at the landing LAAT Gunships at the arrival of the first Cadets. Aboard one of them, stood a Golf Squad member, three Bravo, and three Alpha. Captain Silver stood at the landing pads, waiting for the first Gunship to land.

In one of the gunships, the troopers start talking with each other. "Can you guys believe we'll be finishing our training soon? It's been years since we started!" One of the Alpha told the rest, spinning his medkit.

Hyper nodded, shining his Z-6 Rotary Blaster, a clear smile on his face. The Sniper of Bravo had no expression on his face, not speaking much. "Sorry about my friend, he's not very talkative. Names Dozer, the Sniper is Ber, while that guy," He said pointing at the last Bravo, "He's Blood. That makes Bravo."

An Alpha spoke up next. "Well then it's our turn. I'm Hound, Squad Lead of Alpha. That right there shining his Z-6 is Hyper. Really obsessed with that thing. And finally there's Crow, probably the best Medic here," The guy said.

A guy wearing Golf's Pink armor stood in shame, "And that leaves me, the solo. I'm Debon. The only member of Golf for right now, but I'm the Sniper. So yeah," He finished.

The Cadets finished their introductions as they made contact with the ground. They looked out the doors as they saw Silver staring them down. They ran out with a few other Cadets, standing at attention, saluting the ARC. "At ease Cadets. My name is Captain Silver. One of the four leaders of the Vulptex Battalion. And we're your new Leaders. Let me show you to your Bunks, and finish off with introducing you to the man giving most of your trainings," Silver finished, making some of the Cadets nervous.

Silver starts walking as everyone else followed, the base was dark, lights out like they were hiding from something. Ber looked up a tower, seeing a man in robes, staring down at him. Debon looked up but it was gone. The Cadets walked into the Bunk Area. Reading the signs of 501st, 212th, Class Room, and Cadets.

They walked up to the door, pushing a button opening their bunks. Silver motioned for them to go inside. The Cadets looked at him, and went in. "Button to leave is right there. But I recommend you stay here. We gotta introduce you to Commander Shard," Silver told the Cadets.

Hyper and Dozer immediately sit down on the Ground. As Ber shines his sniper on a bottom bunk bed. Blood lays above Ber, thinking about what the Commander would be like. Hound goes to grab a drink, as Debon goes to claim a bunk in a corner. Crow looks around, noticing there is really nothing medical in here for him.

I stared looking at Silver take the Cadets inside the bunks. "Sir, I believe the General was watching too." Sydd told me, pointing at the tower.

I stared at the top, seeing the General stare at me and jump down. I noticed Silver exit the bunks, and head towards the HQ. I look at Angel, excited to scare the living hell out of the newbies.

Silver walked into the room, quite loudly at that. "Your responsibility now Commander. I'm gonna go take a nap now," Silver said walking back out.

Me, Angel, and Sydd walk to the elevator, going down to Debrief. We saw Silver walk out, and then a LAAT take off. I raise my arm to me helmet, activating a comm link. "Cadets! This is Commander Shard of the Vulptex Battalion! Get your asses down here to Debrief area!" I shouted into the commlink.

This is where the fun begins.

The Cadets filed in, "I want you boys shoulder to shoulder!" I yelled, as they quickly did what I said.

I smirked as Sydd laughed. "My name is Commander Shard. Your new Boss. I will be taking you through your simulations, and eventually your Graduation. If you need anything, come to me. If I'm not available the other ARCs will aid. However. I am not the only one who is gonna be Training you. I would like to introduce you to Major Angel and Second Lieutenant Sydd. Now, you're first big Training is gonna start soon, so prepare yourselves. And I expect high of you boys since you're the first batch," I finished, I can see all of them get nervous.

I smirked as Angel took the stand. "Now, as soon as you are prepared. Come back here, and line up in Squad Lines. Am I clear?" She finished.

"Yes sir!" The Cadets yelled.

They leave as I see Angel, a little angry being called sir. I shrugged as Sydd put an arm on her shoulder. "It's not like they know yet," He said calming her down.

Let's see how they are.
