I can't believe this has made 292 on the what's hot list! It changes a lot, so this may be wrong.( THIS IS NOW AN EDITION: it's normally around 400 on the what's hot list, 292 was just what it was at one time.) I know it's not very high, but being on it at all is AWESOME. Thankyou to my 3 fans:

Melonie

I giggled at Melody, my bezzie friend. Despite her name, there was no way she was going to become famous by music standards, even if her Daddy was almost as rich as mine. I heard someone call us to their table.

'Mel and Mel, hey wait up! Come and sit with us!'

I sighed in defeat, swung round, I was just thinking that I was never going to have lunch with John, this really sweet and phit guy in my year, when I walked straight into Tommy, my current boyfriend. He grabbed my shoulders until I steadied myself, I glared up into his handsome face. He was going to pay.

I purposefully and arrogantly sat in the seat I knew Tommy had been sitting in and motioned Mel to sit in front of me. I said hi to Tommy's gang of friends, who I wasn't really sure the name of and looked innocently up at Tommy, pretending I hadn't just gone and left him without a seat.

'Why don't you go and get a chair, Hun?' he looked half amused, half angry as he stalked away.

'Why did you do that?' Mel stage whispered to me.

'He's getting too clingy' I whispered back. 'It's time for a new hunk of phit.' the Tommy gang was too lost in motorbike debating that they took no notice. After I finished my yoghurt, I wondered where Tommy was. I had to break up with him soon, maybe John would be next on my list. Problem was if he annoyed me as much as Tommy, I didn't want to kill him, I actually liked this one. All the guys I'd been out with previously had been socially drained by, you guessed it, me. I don't actually kill them, I just like to call it that, makes it seem more final. I never go out with the same guy twice.

I said 'Let's go' to Mel and I left my tray there,Tommy could put it away for me. I told Mel to do the same but like the goody-two-shoes that she is she walked of to the bins while I was left standing there be myself.

John

I saw Melonie standing a few feet away from me. I smiled inwardly as I thought that out of the lot, she is the most annoying, but it was worth a try. I missed Jonie already, and I'd only seen her an hour ago.

'Hey, Mel' I called over to her.

She turned round, saw me looking at her and gave a flirtatious smile. I beckoned her over and she walked, a bit proudly to my table. As she sat down and crossed her legs I put my hands on the table. She copied my movements.

'Yesssss?' she said adorably with a seductive confused look on her face.

'What?' I ask, making sure she's interested.

'Well I'm sure you didn't calk me over here just to stare at my lovely hotness.'

I saw right through her pout but decided to play along. It would work out for me later.

'That wasn't the only reason...' I paused, glanced up and saw a look of triumph that she quickly wiped off her face. I pretended not to see. 'But you've got a boyfriend...you wouldn't be interested...' I knew I was playing with her but I had to seem dominant and in control. She was just about to answer when a large fist with patches of red rash thumbed the table between our hands. Aww I was just about to hold hers as well!

'Oi! That's my girlfriend your flirting with there!'

I stood up to see Tommy looming repulsively over me. 'Not for long, I think.'

'And what's that supposed to mean?' he said sarcastically.

'Hey!' Melonie was standing between us looking like she would fall apart of happiness (she had two guys fighting over her) or crumble of sadness (it looked as though she really hadn't wanted Tommy intervening on our conversation. I smiled inwardly again.

'You have no idea what your talking about, right Melonie?'

She sighed and stared guiltily at her hand on his chest. 'I think we need to talk...' Tommy looked like he might explode. Hey, were her nails that purply-red before? She looked up apologetically at me. Were her eyes that red before? 'I'll see you later?'

I nodded lamely, her eyes went back to their normal blue as she dragged Tommy away, a stunned Melody trailing behind having heard the last bit of the conversation.

I sat down gobsmacked. This hadn't been in my orders. What was I supposed to do about one of them having eyes and nails that changed colour? Well no matter what, I had to get close to her to protect her...
