Chapter 5:Who's Ready To Partaaay?

"Gorgeous." Jade said, whilst admiring me in my outfit.

"Gorgeous? More like sexy." I recognized that voice. Jade's twin. Leo. He smirked and wiggled his eyebrows. I almost gagged in disgust. He's got the same facial features as Jade; Black hair, pale skin, brown eyes. 

"Leo! Get out of my room!" She tried pushing him out the room but he didn't budge an inch. Even though Leo was Jade's twin, he was a lot stronger and much more taller than Jade. He's one of the populars, sporty and all. To say he was unattractive is an understatement. I even had a little crush on him when me and Jade were twelve, but I never told her because that would just be awkward. Liking your best friend's brother is just plain disgusting and goes against all the rules in the girl book.

"Will you just go?!" I yelled, getting annoyed.

"Fine! Sheesh! Someone's on their period." He muttered the last part before leaving the bedroom. Typical boys.

"Where's Za-" Before Jade could finish, there was a ring from the doorbell.

"And speaking of the devil..." She muttered before going downstairs. I giggled under my breath and followed behind her.

Jade's Mom is out town blowing her money on alcohol and her Dad divorced her Mom, so Jade's left to take care of the bills, but her brother sometimes helps out too. I look behind her fake smiles and laughs and I see a frail and delicate girl crying. It just makes me want to break down and cry...

Shaking my head, I went downstairs.

"Hey guys! Who's ready to partaaay?" Zane said, smiling goofly his grey eyes twinkling with mischief.

"We are!" Me and Jade yelled pumping our fists in the air. 
"Are you comin?!" She called for Leo.
"Nah! Can't be asked." He said lazily.
"Suit yourself."

We arrived at the house in about 15 mins. To be honest, it isn't even a house; its a fricken mansion! Jade was right, this girl is loaded! We all gaped at the house as it stood towering over us. The grass and bushes were neatly trimmed, so no excess leaves stuck out. The front lawn was scattered with red cups and other litter. Music was blaring and teens stood in dark corners snogging, other's were either dancing or throwing up in the bushes. The party was in full swing. Could this get any more cliché?

"Well, are we going or not?" Zane said impatient.

"Alright, sorry boss." Jade said making a move forward. We followed behind, making sure not to trip on the plastic cups. We rang the door bell but decided to see if the door was open.

We pushed it open and found a drunk girl swaying her way to the door.

"Hey guys! So glad you could make it!" She chirped her words slurred. She engulfed us in a group hug, her breath reeking of alcohol.

"Aria right?" She said peeling away from the hug.

"No its Auror-"

"And Jasmine?" She said facing towards Jade.

"No it's Jad-"

"And Zak?" She asked Zane.

Zane just sighed and said, "Yeah. It's Zak"

I held back a giggle.

"You must be Layla." Jade said smirking.

"Yep!" She beamed, her hazel eyes twinkling.

"Yo! Layla!" Two boys holding a expensive vase held it in the air to show Layla. She put a thumbs up for approval.

"Go ahead boys! Knock your selves out!" She yelled. The two boys smirked mischievously, and threw the glass vase on the floor sending pieces of glass flying across the wooden floor. Is this girl crazy?! Strange... But I somehow like it.

"Why are you guys standing outside for?! Come in! Come in!" She ushered us inside, almost tripping in the process. Man... This girl is wasted. As soon as I turned my back,  she was already snogging a guy. I've got to admit, she does have the looks. The wavy brown hair, sun kissed skin and hazel eyes says it all.

I felt a tap on my shoulder and whipped my head round. It was Jade grinning at me.
"What?" I shouted over the music.
"Look!" She pointed to a bunch of kids huddled on a couch, spinning a bottle.
"No! I am not doing that game!" I huffed turning the other direction.
"Oh come on! You know what? You're comin' with me, even if I have to drag you there." She grabbed my arm, and dragged me forward.

Me, being the weakling I am was much weaker compared to Jade so I got pulled along.
"Hey, mind if we join." Jade said twirling her hair and biting her lip seductively. The guy who was in charge, could'nt resist Jade's act.
"Ye-yeah s-sure" He stuttered, flustered. I rolled my eyes at his reaction. Jade just flashed me a winning wink.

I sat down, waiting for the game to start. Someone who looked very familiar just joined the game. Hang on! It's him! What's he doing here?! He plopped down next to me, and my shoulders tensed.
"What are you doing here?!" I hissed, voicing my thoughts.                                                                          "Shhh! The game is starting." He said ignoring my question. From the corner of my eye, I could see he was smirking. That idiot!
