I had walked passed my friends escorting myself to the three storeyed mansion that stood magnificently in the yard where we were having the party.
"Watch it!!" A black dude with curly hair half screamed as I bumped into him spilling a cup of something that looked like vodka..I wasn't sure what it was and I sure as hell wasn't willing to find out. "Sorry...my boyfriend's a little tipsy" a tall blonde girl apologized as she placed a hand on the boy whom I now knew to be her boyfriend to help support him as he could barely Stand on his own.
"Tipsy my ass!!" I murmured as they disappeared from sight into the dancing crowd.
Walking towards the snack table, I catch a glimpse of someone at the far end of the house I assumed to be the living room. Squinting my eyes to try and make out the figure I saw cause the room was barely lit up except for red and green party bulbs.
I walked over to the far end of the room crashing into people and hearing curse words from teens who were obviously irritated with my lack of manners but I didn't pay them any attention cause something else caught my eyes.
Getting to the spot, my eyes now used to the dim lighting I make out the face of a petite brunette with a tank top, jean jacket and ripped jeans she looked the way I felt, lost, uncomfortable and out of place.
"Hi..you look bored for someone who's at a party" I spoke first hoping to sound as chill as possible.
"Do I?...I can tell you hate being here as much as I do" the brunette girl spoke this time while sizing me up with her eyes. Shit!! Her eyes!!
Her eyes were the most intense shade of blue I had ever seen..so innocent yet so deceptive....hiding and shielding the world from finding out who she truly was behind all that exterior.
"The name's Ocean in case you were wondering..what's yours" her voice filled my ears again as she says her name. "Ocean? Wow that's unusual ...I'm Parker, Parker Banks" I say as I extend my hand for an handshake still lost in the waves of her blue eyes, her Ocean blue eyes.
