ASHLEY'S POV
As Ashley walked on an abandoned path towards what was said to be her inevitable doom, the air started to grow dense. Smoke clouded the sky from something in the distance. Ashley couldn't quite see what it was because of Dimey's giant sail blocking her field of vision.
The entire time while walking there, Dimey was quietly cackling to himself like the psychopath he was. It creeped Ashley out, but then again, the entire atmosphere of this place was creepy all by itself.
Finally, Dimey stopped. He looked at Ashley with a nasty look in his eye and smiled a toothy grin.
"We're here..." he hissed. He ran to the side of Ashley to reveal what they were looking at. Dimey had lead Ashley to a ledge where they were looking over a pool of water. Except, this water was different. It was a weird, purplish color and it was bubbling immensely. The smoke that had clouded the sky earlier was caused by how hot this pool was bubbling. It didn't smell very good, either.
"What is that?" Ashley asked out of curiosity.
"Is that any of your business?" Dimey snarled. He then turned to a leopard guard that had also followed there and commanded, "Alright! It's time to toss her in!"
BLUE'S POV (SEVERAL MINUTES EARLIER)
Blue couldn't believe it had worked, but he was able to get both Gwangi and Drogon through the shield and to the giant gates that lead into the Watcher base.
"So," Gwangi said, looking at the gates, "How do we get in?"
"Simple," Blue responded, "We just open the gates and walk right in. I doubt anyone will notice."
Gwangi nodded. But he didn't walk towards the gates. Instead, he looked at Blue and asked, "So, what was your occupation before you ended up as a warrior?"
Why? Why did he ask that? Of all the questions he could've asked, why did he ask that one?
Not wanting to be impolite, Blue let out a sigh. He looked at Gwangi dead in the eyes and told him, "A butler."
Gwangi made a strange face. Blue couldn't tell if he was trying to hold off a laugh or if he was angry.
"A butler?!" Gwangi snapped. He was definitely angry, "Out of all the occupations you could've had, you got a butler? How are we going to sneak into this building when we're being guided by a freaking butler?!"
"Hey, it's not that bad!" Blue snarled, "I could've been a janitor or something stupid like that."
Drogon huffed in agreement. Gwangi snarled at him, then back at Blue. He snorted and went through the gates, followed close behind by Blue and Drogon.
After going through some secret hallways within the Watcher base, Gwangi suddenly stopped.
"What is it?" Blue asked.
Gwangi pointed out his claw. Standing right in front of them in another hallway was Kapro, sniffing the air and looking at all of the Watcher troops that passed by.
"I'm glad you found him," Blue whispered, "We can use him to hack into the system. I know for sure that he knows the code to bring down the shield."
"Great," Gwangi snarled, "Then let's get him." He made a gesture with his tail directed towards Drogon. Drogon nodded and slinked out of the hallway. All of a sudden, his head shot out and grabbed Kapro by the tail. Pretty soon, Kapro was dangling from the ground, with Blue and Gwangi staring up at him.
