*Megan's POV*

I'm sitting in my Nissan 360Z at the ice cream parlor, when I hear a car pull up beside me.

Carly.

I feel really bad for flipping out like that but she could've told me after she told Luke. I love Carly. I'm going to miss her a lot when she moves to the Americas.

I sigh, grab my purse and step out of my car.

"Hey Megs." Carly sighs.

"Hey." I reply.

We walk into the ice cream shop and order our ice cream.

I got a banana split and Carly got a mint chocolate chip sundae.

"So, I would just like to know why you didn't tell me you were moving after you told Luke." I state.

"Well, I had planned on that but I got sidetracked with something else and I forgot to call you." She admits.

"Well, it would've been nice to be notified but I guess I forgive you." I sigh heavily.

"Really?! Oh thank you thank you Megs. I didn't want you to be mad at me. I'm really sorry I didn't tell you." She exclaims.

"Okay okay. I get it." I laugh.

"Love you Megs." She smiles.

"Love you too Carles." I smile back.

Wow, that was the confession I'd been waiting for.

"Soooo, whatdaya wanna do now?" Carly asks.

"I don't know." I reply.

"Let's go see a movie. I heard Ouija came out." I suggest.

"Okay. I heard it's kinda scary." Carly replies.

"Nah. We'll be fine." I shrug.

"Okay." She says uncertainly.

•At Movie Theater.•

"Hey, I'll get the tickets you get the popcorn, drinks, and candy?" I ask.

"Sure. Be right back." She says.
She runs off to the food counter while I stand in line ordering the tickets.

Out of the corner of my eye, I see a familiar figure running towards me.
Luke.

"Hey Megs. What's up?" He pants.

"Nothing much. Gonna watch Ouija with Carly, why?" I ask.

"I need to tell her something. Tell her to call me later." He says.

"Okay. I will." I nod.

"Thanks." He replies, running back to his car.

I walk up to the ticket counter and purchase two tickets for Ouija.

"Have fun." The lady tells me.

"Thanks." I reply, walking over to a table where Carly was sitting.

"Hey. I got the tickets you got food and drinks so lego." I laugh.

She rolls her eyes playfully as we walk to our theater.

We sit down and chomp on popcorn and candy throughout the movie.

I glance over at Carly and think, 'Wow. My best friend is moving soon.'
