Kisses

The rain was pouring from the sky, making it the perfect weather to just stay inside and lay on the couch. At least it would be perfect if your boyfriend would be here. But, alas, he was on patrol duty once again and it made you worried for his safety.
You sighed as you laid down even more on the couch, flicking through the channels on the tv, however, nothing really seemed to catch your attention. Another sigh escaped your lips before you turned off the tv completely. You turned on your back and watched the raindrops drip down from the window, the sound of rain hitting the roof relaxed you.
After a while, the front door finally opened, revealing a very drenched Seth. A small smile formed on his lips as he saw you laying on the couch, completely indulged in your own mind. He quickly dried himself off, put on some dry clothes before making his way towards you. He gently laid on top of you, warming you up almost immediately. A small smile broke free from your lips as you looked into his warm, brown eyes. The eyes you fell in love with the first time you saw them.
"Hey you." Seth whispered softly as he stroked your cheek with his thumb. You smiled and leaned closer to his touch. "Hey. How did it go?" you asked as you wrapped your arms around his waist, capturing as much of his heat as you could. Seth simply shrugged. "Boring as usual. I am glad to be home again." He said as he rubbed his nose against yours, earning him a small giggle from you. "Me too. I missed you." You said as you lazily grazed your finger up and down his back. A content sigh escaped his lips before he dipped down, claiming your lips with his in a soft, gentle kiss. Your body relaxed almost instantly as you kissed him back. The two of you kissed for quite a while, none of you having any intent on deepening the kiss. It was just a sweet kiss, filled with the love you both had for one another.
