Four Months Later...

The night that Weiss left you for good was playing in your head. But after they left, you sobbed, mourning your lost love, but suddenly a rose came into your view you looked to see who it was. You saw Ruby smiling as she waited for you to take it, you grabbed it.

Ruby: Wake up Y/n.

Your eyes opened to see Ruby standing over you, everyone else was sleeping. You felt for your mask, thankfully, it was still there. You then looked over to Ruby.

Y/n: Yeah? what is it?

Ruby: I-I was wondering if you'd... m-maybe sing for me? I-I'd heard you were a good singer.

Y/n: Who told you that?

Ruby: Ozpin.

After all your years of living, no one actually asked you to sing for them, you'd only sang when you wanted to. You thought about what to sing for her then you simply closed your eyes and words began to flow.

(After singing)

Ruby looked at you with tears streaming down her face.

Ruby: I-I'm sorry... w-was that about someone you know? an ex-girlfriend?

You became reminded of her again and emotion started to come through but not anger, now it was an overwhelming sadness. You started to sob once more but trying to fight it back, Ruby kneeled down and held you close, you completely broke down in her embrace. After a minute you backed up.

Y/n: A-am I a monster?

Ruby: N-no she is for hurting you like this.

Memories came back from when you kidnapped her.

Y/n: No... I am a monster... *sniffles* I am. It was all my fault. No one else's.

I grabbed my cloak and wrapped it around myself before walking out the door and making my way to class.

Ruby POV

Ruby: He's such a good singer though. I can't believe anyone would break up with him.

Blake: I don't know Ruby, I've really only known you three for one night. I don't think we can decide that yet.

Yang: I think he likes you though, Rubes.

Ruby: Yang, please! He's just a friend, okay?

Yang: I think you like him too though.

Ruby: Yang!

Y/n POV

It honestly feels good to take regular classes, I mean how hard can they be.

Professor Port: Welcome to your Grimm Studies.

Y/n: I wonder what's taking the other three so long. Oh well.

Just then the door flung open slamming against the wall so hard it caused me to jump out of my seat.

Professor Port: Please come in calmly next time, you gave the rest of your classmates a scare. Not to mention me.

RBY: Sorry.

I chuckled trying to shake off the nerves, it didn't help much though as Ruby sat next to me followed by the other two. I took a gasp of air and held it until I almost passed out. I then slowly breathed out and put all my focus on the teacher. Though it seems Ruby noticed how long I wasn't breathing.
