~Amaros' pov~

I can't believe I'm actually helping these losers. We all walked back to some big abandoned in, I kept an eye on Ace. No matter how many times they say I can trust him, I'm gonna continue to keep at least five feet between us

Sure, I was gonna stay with them, not because I like them, but it's best for survival. That night I couldn't sleep, I could never really sleep to be honest. Zombie outbreaks will do that to a person.

I walk downstairs with my weapon and sit down on the last step, out of the corner of my eye I saw something and looked over seeing it was Ace. "The heck-?" I question. Ace gave a small wave with a bored expression

"C-Can't....sleep...?" he questioned. "OK how are you able to talk!?!?" I question. "Brother... Helps..." Ace said with a shrug. His voice was raspy and hard to understand. I sigh and look away "No, I'm just keeping watch for any un-" I glance over and then look away

"Uuunwanted visitors," I say quickly. Ace rolled his eyes and shrugged. "By the way... How did you get bit?" I ask looking over at him. "Don't...remember," Ace said shrugging again. I nod and look away. "So you really don't remember anything?" I ask

"No..." Ace mumbled. I heard footsteps and looked up the stairs seeing Aku, great, the other zombie. I got up as he walked down the stairs and walked over to Ace sitting beside him. "Do you two not sleep-?" I question, they both shake their heads.

"I guess when your dead you don't need sleep..." I say. "Nope," I hear a voice from up the stairs and see Alok. "What..?" I question. "Oh, well, ya see before this whole outbreak thingy I was already dead, so I'm immune to the disease," he explains

"How did that happen???" I question. "Pushed off a building at 7 years old, came back to life with the help of demons," Alok said chuckling. "OK then-" I say looking away, that was a little hard to believe.

"You don't have to believe me, you weren't there after all," Alok said with a chuckle. I roll my eyes and look at Aku and Ace, then Alok. Great, I'm the only living thing in this room, unless Alok is lying about the whole dead thing,

"I'm gonna go to bed," I say standing up and walking up the stairs. I sigh and walk into an empty room shutting the door and leaning on it. My tail sways as I look around, the pink part of my antena starting to glow.
