Brothers

~Blaise's pov~

  Alex had gotten sick, so I covered up my face in mud and walked outside into the streets. There were a few wandering zombies around me, I stayed calm letting out a sigh as I simply walked past them, with my scent covered up with the mud, it was an easy escape

  I walk to the closest supermarket, we were pretty sure it was a regular fever, so I walked into a medicine Isle and took ibuprofen. I thought heard footsteps and put the medicine in my pocket looking around. 

  I didn't see anything, so I walked to another part of the store to get water. I heard them again, closer to me, I look around. Must be a wandering undead... OK.... Stay calm, if it attacks, then you can fight it.

  I look around to see where it was, I listened closely to the footsteps, moving slowly and carefully. I look into one of the food isles and see a familiar figure with a purple hoodie. Wait... No... There's no way... Is that Aku!?

  I run up "A-A-Aku!" I exclaim, when he turned to look at me I stopped and backed away. "A-Aku..?" he was... undead!? Aku tilted his head looking at me. "Aku what's going on over-" I saw another familiar figure walk over, it was Axel

  "Blaise???" Axel questions looking at me. I step back, looking at Axel, then Aku. No, there was no way...I shake my head looking at Aku, he took a step towards me, I took a step back. "Blaise wait-" Axel says. 'he's dead... he's dead he's gone... he... he's undead...' I thought to myself

  'My brother is gone...' I thought, tears welling in my eyes. "Blaise," I look at Axel. "Um... How do I explain this," he gave a nervous chuckle. "H-H-He's u-und-dead...." I say. "Well... Yeah but... Listen to me for a sec ok?" Axel questioned. I look at Aku, then Axel, and hesitantly nod

  Axel started going on about how Aku was undead but listened to them, and how he was starting to act more human after spending time with people he knew and loved before he'd died. I didn't know whether to believe him or not

  I wanted to believe him... but it all seems impossible. "Trust me, do you really think I'd go on a supply run with a zombie if I didn't trust him?" Axel questioned. Honestly, I don't know, I never got to know Axel all that well after all 

  "We're with some of the other's you could join us," Axel says. "I'm sure the other dreamers would be happy to see you," he adds. "O-Other D-D-Dreamers... W-With y-y-you..?" I ask. "Well... Except Mirage," I nod, Mirage was back at our hideout...
