~Quissen's pov~
Well this is... concerning? Confusing? Little bit of both, I kept my eyes on Aku as we all walk. I was holding Ace, despite his constant protesting, "Q-Quissen really I-I can walk on m-my own..." Ace said weakly. "Ace, you can barely move, I can carry you there it'll be alright," I say
After a few minutes Ivy showed us all the inn everyone else was at, Ace had fallen asleep. We all walked through a big staircase to the top floor. I could see why they chose this place, it's high up, so they'd notice an undead long before it got to them.
"Guys!" Ivy yelled running to one of the rooms and walking inside, the rest of us following. I looked at everyone, they all stared at us in shock and confusion. "Ivy... Did you..." Cassidy looked at us. "Yep, they're alive," Ivy says smiling and holding Axel's hand
Aiko smiles "I can't believe you're all actually alive!" She exclaims running up to us. "Where have you all been???" Arakan asks. "ACE!" Cassidy exclaims running up to me and my brother. "He's sick, be careful, he fell asleep on the way here," I explain.
Cassidy looks up at me and nods "I-Is he gonna be alright..?" she asks. "He'll be fine, we gave him some medicine for it before we left," I say. Cassidy nods again and takes Ace's hand. "I... I thought he was... I didn't know you all were... Where have you been???" she questions.
"Nightmares base, trying to fix the radio Alok found," I say. "You found a radio!?" Mia and Arakan question. Alok takes the radio from his pocket. "Yep," he says. Ashley runs up as well. "Where's Autumn?" Axel questions. "She's in another room doing something," Ashley says.
"Have you heard anything on the radio..?" Arakan asks looking at Alok. "Nope, but we only just fixed it," Alok explains. Ace woke up, his eyes opening slightly, but only being half lidded. He looked at Cassidy "C-Cass..?" he questions. I look down at my brother
Cassidy looks at Ace and smiles, on the verge of tears as she kissed his hand. "It's me Ace..." she says. Ace smiles looking at her "I... missed you," he says. "I missed you too..." Cassidy says. "He needs to rest..." she says looking up at me, I nod.
"Come on, we can take him to the next room so he can sleep," she says walking out the door, I follow, she leads me to the next room. I set Ace on the bed. "Y-You're sure he'll be alright..?" Cassidy asks looking up at me. "Positive," I say.
"C-Cass I'm fine..." Ace says looking at her. "I'll believe you when your able to move," Cassidy says. "I'll leave you two alone," I say and chuckle walking out of the room. I sigh, I really hope It's just a fever...
~Ace's pov~
Me and Cassidy had been talking for a while now, I missed her so... I couldn't help but want to keep the conversation going. I wish I could give her a hug or a kiss or even just a peck on the cheek... Dang fever
My eyelids grew heavy, I yawned and took her hand. "I love you Cass..." I say before letting my eyes drift shut, as I did, everything went black. But I wasn't asleep-? I could still feel and hear everything around me. Wait, where am I? Who's touching my hand-? How did I get here? Who... Who am I? Why do I feel.... starving..?
