It all started in early years when I was just in primary school (5-6) everything was fine and going okay not that I remember much because I was so young. But when I was in primary 3 (7-8) I got bullied by a boy in my year, I don't really want to mention names but his name was cameron, he told me I was ugly and fat, it didn't really make an impact because I was at a young age.
A couple months after he had started bullying me he started to bully me not just mentally but physically too. He punched me he kicked me, strangled me, spat on me. All most everyday I would come home with bruises all over my body, I remember looking through pictures with my mum a couple months ago and we where on a school outing I had a black eye and a busted lip, who could've thought that and eight year old had the power to do something so hurtful?
This is when my anxiety started to kick in I would pretend to be ill I would cry and cry until my mum called me in sick, I never told anyone because he told me not to or "bad things would happen" so I kept quiet.
This kept going on till I was in primary 5 (9-10) until I finally let it slip to my mum what had happened she contacted the school and of course they didn't believe me how could they? But my mum phoned in ABEL (anti bullying east Lothian) she helped some and it all stoped for awhile but that didn't mean I was feeling anybetter, when someone goes through something like that they're traumatized they can't just forget even at the age of 10.
Then it all started again but of course the bully was getting to go on special trips by himself he was treated better when all he did was make me feel like shit.
We all wonder what goes through people's heads when this happens and its not something we can control unfortunately what happened happens there nothing we can do
