Sophia has always been amazed by what Demi does. To her it's the coolest thing when she gets to hear and see Demi work hard and create music that she later hears play on the radio. It was something she was absolutely astounded by.

So one day when she watched Demi play from the doorway, despite how many times you told her to give Demi some privacy because she really needed to focus on finishing this new song, Sophia couldn't help but ask Demi if she could teach her how to play the piano.

Demi was more than excited to get to teach her. The fact that Sophia greatly admires everything she does and wants to learn a little of it, too, was something that melted Demi's heart. She agreed, promising her that in just a couple days she'd teach her, and that day had finally come.

Demi heard Sophia in her room, playing with her toys and giggling to herself. She simply stared at her from the doorway for just a moment - just watching and smiling along with Sophia. She's such a happy girl and Demi always loved that about her. Every bad day could always be cured by the sight of her smiling or the sound of her laughing.

"Hey sweetie" Sophia looked up when she heard Demi's voice. "Come on!" Sophia knew exactly what she was talking about, getting up and running to Demi as quickly as she could. Demi walked her to her music room and took a seat on the chair before picking Sophia up and sitting her on her lap. "You excited?" Sophia nodded her head, her little curls bouncing making Demi giggle. She kissed her head before grabbing Sophia's hand and putting them on certain keys.

"You ready?" Sophia looked up at her smiling and Demi's heart skipped a beat. "Okay so just gently push down on these keys." She helped guide Sophia's small hands across the keys. Sophia screamed excitedly when she heard the beautiful melodic sound they made. "Great job Soph! Keep going!"

Demi pulled her hands away and let Sophia do her own thing after a couple minutes. She's only four so she's not gonna be an expert and Demi knew that, but she was pretty blown away by Sophia's want to learn and play more and how she was actually doing a pretty good job. "Am I doing good?" Sophia asked Demi sweetly, the smile on her face making Demi smile right back at her. "You are doing such a wonderful job. Are you having fun?" Sophia only giggled and started to play more, giving Demi the answer to her question with that alone.

About twenty minutes went by before Sophia stopped and turned around, throwing her arms around Demi's neck and snuggling close to her. "Thank you!" Demi giggled and wrapped her arms around Sophia's back, kissing her head a few times. "You're so welcome." Sophia climbed off of Demi's lap to run downstairs to tell you all about what Demi taught her, and Demi couldn't wait to teach her more in the future.
