Your mom works as an International Aid Worker (IAW) and she has to travel to several different countries across the world to help people in need after wars, natural disasters, etc. so she's rarely home. Your dad, on the other hand, works in the army so whenever he gets his chances he comes home. You moved to Derry at the end of the school year so the upcoming school year will be your first official year of school. You met Tae and Noah on a walk home from school, when you met them they were very welcoming to you and you seemed to just click with the two, ever since you three have stayed close.
