....Percy.

Ahhh!! I shouldn't have come here. I knew he would be here. Why did I come!! Shut up Annabeth and say something.

"I...i...emm" I gulped. Well that went well.

Percy sat down next to me and looked out at the horizon. For a moment silence enveloped us. A comfortable silence where nothing needed to be said.

"What are you doing out here at this time?"

"I...i couldn't sleep, had a lot on my mind"

"Ohh" he said quietly. I was expecting him to say 'a daughter of Athena having a lot on her mind that's not a surprise.' But this was the cheerful Percy I used to know.

After that we stopped talking for a while when suddenly he asked me the question I dreaded the most.

"Annabeth"

"Yeah"

"Can I ask you a question?"

"You just did sea- Percy" hoping he didn't hear my mistake of nearly calling him seaweed brain.

We both chuckled making me feel like it was just like old times like I hadn't left at all.

"Annabeth... why did you leave?" Percy whispered suddenly.

"I...i...I don't know" I lied.

"Don't lie to me wisegirl" I gasped. He still remembers my nickname.

Chuckling he said "what...You think I forgot. I would never forget about you wisegirl"

"You forgot me when you were with Rachel" I whispered, hoping he didn't hear me.

"What" he questioned

"Nothing...I said nothing"

"Yes you did Annabeth. Now are you going to tell me what you said or not?"

I just ignored him and looked straight ahead.

"Annabeth" he shouted. "Just tell me what you said"....

"Annabeth"

That's when I couldn't take it anymore. "fine." I shouted. You want to know what I said....I said you forgot me when you were with Rachel."

"What" Percy whispered, not expecting my response.

"You heard me Percy, now go back to your stupid girlfriend."

"What? What are you talking about" Percy asked getting more annoyed by the minute.

"Do I have to repeat myself 50 billion times?" I shouted

"Annabeth. What the hell is you problem?" Percy said angrily

"YOU. Percy you're my problem. You lied to me"

Percy now looked confused.

"YOU lied to me Percy. YOU said that you'd never leave me but you did. When you were with Rachel. YOU forgot all about me Percy. Whenever I wanted to hang about with you, YOU were always too busy with Rachel. YOU had no time for me. YOU abandoned me. YOU said you'd never leave me but you did. YOU left me for her, Percy." By this time we were both stood up, me glaring at him. Whilst he looking shocked and a tad bit scared.

Finally I left out a shaky breath and said "It was always me and you Percy. But you left me for her." I whispered close to tears, looking him straight in the eye. "And to top it all off she's your girlfriend"

"She not my girlfriend" he argued

"Don't lie to me Percy. I saw you both. I saw you kiss her."

"You...you saw that" he asked

"Yeah. I did." I whispered.

"Annabeth...I..."

"Don't" I cut him off

"But..."

Before he could say anything else I ran away from him again. Tears streaming down my face uncontrollably.
