Water rapidly started gushing in through the sides and we looked at each other in worry. I saw the varying emotions scurry across Zack's face.

"We need to find something that will enable a door to open! You go look over in that corner and I'll look here..."

I like the new Zack! He is assertive and kind. Just thinking about him makes me feel warm inside. Wait no. We are just friends.

We scattered towards our assigned places and ran out hands up and down the walls; desperately trying to find something that would help us out if the gloomy cave.

The water was raising higher and higher. What wasn't helping was the fact that it was freezing. Suddenly Zack screamed out...

"Here! here! I found something..." He yelled on a proud but worried manor.

As he pressed what looked like a minuscule stone on a wall, the water vanished into thin air and slowly, but steadily, one of the dull walls started to rise.

We peered our beady eyes round the corner and realised that we weren't in the same place as before. Some how we had arrived in a new location. This one was much different as it was lighter and full with life. The intricate vines layer across the stone walls gave a homely feel (as if you have a wall paper decorated with vines) and the various stones replicated chairs. It was almost as if someone had lived here.

I wondered cautiously out from the safety of the cave and discovered that the room was in fact circular. It had a large structure in the middle of the room stretching down from the cold, damp ceiling to the dry, yet moist, floor. Around it, there was a long, thick and round rock like table. It had old papers and what looked like draws scattered around it.

I approached the centre piece...
I started to explore the papers left behind and the varying object scattered across the table just seconds from falling of. As I wondered around curiously looking for anything that could help up,
"Stop! you don't know what it is or what it could do." Said Zack.

It's nice to know he cares but this could link in with my mum and dad. I have to know...
