~Chapter One~

Kyley's POV

My alarm went off. I opened my eyes and groaned. I waved my hands around trying to hit the alarm clock button. Ugh. The first day at a new high school. Me and my friends transferred after our previous school announced they were shutting down. I wasn't necessarily excited to be going to a new school.. It's not exactly easy for a weird tomboy/hipsterish and shy girl to make new friends. I was not special just me.. Kyley Washington.

I got out of bed and walked to my bathroom. I tuned on the shower and got in. When I got out I ate breakfast and brushed my teeth. I went into my closet, I threw on black skinny jeans, a long sleeve tie-die sweatshirt. I blow dried my hair, brushed it and left it down. I grabbed my grey beanie and my floral vans and threw them on. Trying not to be too dressy because I don't like attracting attention.

I got my backpack and threw some misc. stuff. I grabbed my pennyboard and my phone and headed outside. I texted my best friends; Quinn and Suki. I told them I was on the way and would see them soon. It was 8:27 and I had to be at school by 8:30.. Late on my first day, of course. Suki texted me asking where I was, I replied with 'I'm skating towards the parking lot see you in class.' I nearly dropped my phone while I was skating but thank god I didn't, I wouldn't be getting a new one. It was 8:37 when I got to the schools front door, I skated to the first semester orientation class.

When I got there I tried to open the door quietly but of course the door loudly clicked and our teacher gave me a glare and said "Sit in the back row." I nodded and slid into a desk. I plugged in my headphones and started drawing on myself with a pen after 20 minutes of her rambling.

Class ended and I put my stuff in my backpack. Grabbing stuff the teacher handed out and not paying attention I opened the door and dropped my books and papers. Ugh nice going me. I face palmed myself and started leaning down to pick them up. Some boy with a dirty blonde quiff was at my feet helping me pick up my papers. "T-thanks" I said as I realized it was CONNOR FRANTA. His greeny-blue eyes gave it away. I stared at him for what felt like too long."What?" he asked smiling. I believe my jaw was literally on the floor. Way to play it cool Kyley I thought to myself. Ughhhh. "Um...nothing. Thanks again." I said while pushing a smile on my face. It was 'The Connor Franta' one of my biggest YouTube idols. I forced myself to actually talk. "Um.. are you the Connor Franta or his long lost identical cousin from Poland?" I asked sarcastically. He flashed a huge white smile and laughed then responded, "The first one, but the second one is way better.." I laughed and smiled uncontrollably. "Okay then.. The Connor Franta, nice to meet you, thanks for helping me with my clumsiness." We laughed and he said "Nice to meet you too,clumsy girl with no name." "I'm Ky-" Then his friends came running over and yelling at him about how lame their teacher was and drug him away. I sighed but also laughed because of Ricky, JC, Kian, Sam, and Trevor. "Well I think this is already the best first day ever." I mumbled to myself as Quinn and Suki came walking over to me.
