~Chapter Thirteen~

Connor's POV

I woke up at 7:20 and my arm was a little sore. I hopped in the shower, my burn stung a little as the hot water sprayed on it. I washed my hair and body. I got out and put on a maroon sweatshirt with grey jeans. I put my stuff in my grey backpack and put on my maroon VANS. I ran my fingers and some gel through my hair. I ate, grabbed my keys and drove to school.

Kylie's POV

I woke to the sound of my alarm clock. As usual. It read 6:50. I got up rubbing my eyes and went to the shower. I turned it on. "Ughh." I let out before taking off my pajamas and getting in. I washed my hair and shaved. Then I washed the conditioner out of my hair. "Ow!" I said as I got some soap in my eye. I finished and got out.

I put on a a black sweatshirt and white skinnies with black VANS. I grabbed my white backpack and my black and white cat ear beanie. I texted my friends and we decided to meet at Aubrey and Suki's. I skated to their place and we skated to the school from there.

We got there at 8:15 and met up with Connor, Tyler, and Troye. "Aye guys." I said. "Hi!" Tyler said. "Hey!" Connor said. We talked and Kian walked over to Suki. We all started walking and Kian wrapped his arm around Suki's lower back. Suki flinched and moved his arm. "Kian. Word please?" She said dragging him away. The rest of us walked to class and Connor kissed me on the cheek before departing. I walked to Math.

Class went by slow. I drew on my arm most of the time. I was pretty good at drawing but never tried to get better. Every time I tried to do something and couldn't do it I usually just gave up. I don't know why. I did my quiz and then the bell rang. I went to history with Quinn, Suki, and Aubrey. We worked more on our presentation. It was put off an extra day due to the fire. We finished and talked. Then the bell rang. Thank god, it was lunch. "I gotta pee." Suki said. "Me too." I added. "Kay see you at the table we'll get you two lunch." Quinn said with a smile. We walked to the bathroom.

"So everything okay with you and Kian?" I asked. "Yeah, now it is." she said. "What happened earlier?" I asked. "I don't know but he knows I don't wanna move fast." she said. I nodded, I knew she didn't want to talk about it. We walked back to the cafeteria when we were done.

I sat with everyone and ate my food. We talked and made stupid jokes. I had a good group of friends. The bell rang and we all departed and went to class. The rest of the classes went by fast. There was no Science Lab so the day was an hour short. We all met up out front.

"I wanna do something." Suki said. "Me too." Aubrey said. "Same" Connor said. "Um.. Beach?" I asked. "Ooh, yass!" Tyler said. "Kay." Troye said. "Pick you up at 3:45" Connor said. We nodded. Kian hugged Suki and whispered something in her ear. Suki smiled. Connor hugged me and left.

"Guys lets go to Wet Seal at the mall!" Suki yelled. We took off and got there pretty fast. It was only a mile away. We walked in and went to bathing suits. "Ooh!" Suki said grabbing a Peach and Mint Green strapless top with peach bottoms. "I like this one." Aubrey said grabbing a black with red tassels top with red bottoms. I found a strapless Galaxy top with black tassels along with black bottoms. I grabbed it. Quinn found a two piece floral and grabbed it. We went in the fitting rooms and checked out after. We skated to our homes and got home at 3:30. We changed and packed our bags and met at my house. Aubrey wore high wasted washed out jean shorts and a white tee. Quinn wore a purple tank with white shorts. Aubrey in dark washed shorts and a peach tank. I was in a white crop top that said "Beach Please" and washed out shorts. Connor picked us up and drove us to the beach.
