Over the hospital stay

I still cant believe I'm talking to my favorite out of the Bondi Rescue lifeguards its amazing a dream come true, sadly it happened because I arrested on the beach but I say to my self 'Dont put your self down enjoy your life.' Over the next few hours Deano and I talk about a lot of things, how he got into lifeguarding, my heart condition, the time I did in medical school etc. Over the next few days it goes a lot like the first day just sitting and talking about everything I even teach Deano some of the fundamentals of reading an ECG. One day they start to help me walk again after the surgery and I say to my nurse "I want to suprise him today so can we go to the cafeteria because thats where he and the guys are at." She smirks and says "You think hes hot dont you?" I blurt out "Baka! No I don't!" Another nurse comes over at my outburst and says "I saw you up after visiting hours were over, sketching a picture of Him on a rescue board, its amazing by the way, You are head over heals for him, I say go for it! Hes single!" I roll my eyes and say "Not a word to any of the guys understood?" She salutes me jokingly and says "No worries I wont tell them." She goes over to the phone and calls the cafeteria as we walk out of the ICU "Stall the lifeguards, we've got a suprise for them." As we walk to the elevator and get in my nurse says "You are the craziest patient i have ever had up and walking with in 12 days of a major sternotomy surgery." I say "I had an aortic arch aneurysm and it was close to bursting so thats why they operated on me." She nods her head as the elevator reaches the cafeteria floor which is the basement. We walk out of the elevator and she grabs a robe for me and says "The gown opens in the back so use this to cover it." I nod and let her put it on me and we keep going and I say "Why does it have to be so freaking hot all the time here its got to be a 120° here." She tilts her head to the side and I say "Fahrenheit not celsius." And then she understands "Ahh I keep forgetting that your American." I say "Its alright." We walk into the cafeteria and Hoppo is the first of the guys to notice me and I make a shush sign as I head over to Kerrbox who visited today and I pull out a cat toy that looks like a rat and I put it on his hand and back away as soon as he notices it he screams "RATTTT!!!!!" And scurries away and I start laughing along with everyone else and thats when they freak out seeing me up and walking "Your walking!! Oh my gosh!" "Holy shit mate!" I look to Deano and see soft tears in his eyes as he says "I'm so proud of you, your doing amazing." Maxi being the immature person he is blurts out "Kiss her Deano!" I blush and he does too as everyone starts chanting "Kiss Kiss Kiss!" I say in japanese to Deano "Lets just do it." He nods as he could kind of make out what I was saying and leans in and I lean in too and our lips meet halfway and we feel the world change around us and it feels like its just us in the room as he wraps his arms around my waist and I bring my hands up to the sides of his head and then the moment is ruined by the wolf whistles from all the guys as Yatsey says "I knew you liked her mate!" He gets a pair of ever so polite middle fingers from the both of us as we part and Deano helps me sit down and there are cheers from everyone as we sit next to each other at the many tables that have been pushed together to accomidate the Bondi lifeguards and Hoppo stands up and says "Over the past 11 days Ive seen and learned amazing things from you Molly, Its a terrible shame that your arrest happened as you were competing in the lifeguard trials, you are an exceptional paramedic, and an even better friend to us all, your time in the board paddling race was second to none, Even though you require such close monitoring of your heart rhythm, I am happy to say." I start getting happy as he says "I would like to welcome our newest and most badass trainee Molly Yamazaki to the lifeguard service!" Cheers erupt as I hug Gonzo tightly in happiness as Deano pries my arms away from Gonzos and hugs me tightly but not too tight and says "Watch it Gonzo shes mine." I laugh along with everyone else at his jealousy as I say "Don't you worry, you will always be my favorite lifeguard." My nurse looks at my monitor and says "We need to get you back to the ICU, your arterial pressure is low." I understand that and soon the guys learn why I hurry as the monitor starts alarming showing that my heart is beating at a very fast rate of 224 beats per minute and Quinno runs to get a wheelchair and My nurse and I rush back to the ICU with Deano following close behind and as soon ad we get to the unit the team takes action getting me back into bed and connected to the bedside monitor and they see that my rhythm.is changing from SVT to V-tach which is one of the most dangerous heart rhythms that is around. "V Tach! Check a pulse and get the crash cart!" They check for my pulse and its there "Shes got a pulse but we need to knock her heart out of this dangerous rhythm." The cart is brought over and they put the pads on me and sync the machine withn my rhythm and charge it to 360 Joules and shock me and I let out a guttural scream "Ahhhh!!!" and my body arches up and then down back onto the bed and my rhythm has normalized and Deano breaths a sigh of relief as he says "Please dont endanger your life because you want to suprise me again please dont do it." I nod and say "I wont if you give me a kiss." He chuckles and comes over and softly kisses me on the lips
