Deanos POV
I am in shock at what I see green lightning sparking out of my girlfriends hands, her saving my best mates life, and her cardiac arrest I dont know what else to say but "I love you so very much Molly and im so fucking proud of you." Chappo comes over and says "I'll take you to the hospital mate." I say "I'm going in the ambo." I walk off and a paramedic helps me climb up into the front passenger seat and I look to the back and I'm in the ambulance that houses my sweet girls body as they fight to resuscitate her and they cant get the tube in but after a little bit of a fight to get it in they finally have her airway secured and they fight the whole way to the hospital and her heart starts beating as we are walking into the hospital and I wonder out loud "Doesnt CPR break someones ribs?" The nurse beside me is assessing the bones and she says "I believe that her sternum is broken in half and spread apart judging by the laceration down the middle of her chest I see right through to her heart." I am in shock and soon pass out, I awaken in another trauma room with a mask on my face and wearing nothing but a hospital gown and my boxers At this point I ask "Wheres my girlfriend? Molly Yamazaki?" My nurse looks away and I am thinking the absolute worst when a surgeon enters the room and says "Shes alright, Molly is currently in surgery as while you were out they found a heart and its on its way here." I start crying heavily "Oh my gosh thank you! Thank you so much mate!" He comes over and I hug him from my hospital bed and he says "But you on the other hand arent doing that well, we did some tests while you were out and found a brain aneurysm so they have to take you to surgery." I say than "Take me to surgery doc." He and the team take me up and I count back from 10 and fall asleep and I dont remember anything else after that.
Mollys POV
I awaken in the same intensive care unit I was in a week before now, I look to my left and see Quinno in the bed next to mine still asleep with a tube down his throat and I start crying as I take his hand my movements alert Hoppo who is sitting between me and Quinno's beds and he looks to me and sees that im crying and says soothingly "Its alright Molly, Hes alive, what you did at the beach saved his life and almost took yours in the process, but your doing amazing and you wont need that monitor anymore." I make a wide eyed look as Hoppo says "You got a heart transplant Molly, your doing awesome, your parents are in the cafeteria eating, Deanos still in surgery." Tears come to my eyes as his words sink in but when I hear that Deano is in surgery I start sobbing Hoppo says "Oh Molly dont cry everything is going to be okay." Its almost like Quinno and I are siblings because as soon as I was fully awake he started stirring and squeezed my hand and I look to him and he looks to me and tears are streaming down our faces as he signs for a whiteboard and marker and Hop passes it over to him and he writes "Are you okay Molly?" Then he passes it over to me and I erase what he wrote and write "In a lot of Pain but from what I remember my sternum was broken." Soon Deano is wheeled into the unit with tubes everywhere you can think of and I try to sit up and the team runs over and forces me back down and says "Calm Down!" I reach right up to my tube and shockingly I pull it right out with the cuff inflated all the way "Tell me whats wrong with him right now or I will stand up and walk out of the hospital." They look at me shocked that I pulled my tube out and I try to sit up again and one nurse says "He just had major brain surgery, he had an aneurysm in the language and memory section of his brain so he might not remember you." Thats when I freak out and start panicing and I am sedated and they put me back on the ventilator and when I awaken I awaken to Deano trying to cuddle me in our beds that have been pushed together and I think it must have been days and Chappo who is sitting next to my bed says "Its been about 3 weeks, apparently your body was in a comatose state because of the trauma of seeing Deano the way he was right after the surgery." I nod and look to the love of my life who is right now sleeping in his bed and I make a motion that I want the tube out and they evaluate my breath sounds and extubate me and I look over at Deano and kiss his forehead softly and I curl up with him and thats when he starts to wake up
